"We were aware the site was on a slope, but this did not interfere in any way with our stay."
The Cowshed facilities and interior standards are high and is a credit to the owners. The enclosed gardens were very generous and provided our Retriever Labrador with much play area. The property location was excellent and with many of other similar and beautiful Cotswold hamlets within easy reach made our holiday a treat.

"Really enjoyed our stay at the Cow Shed."
No cows but a few sheep in the adjacent field. Looks like a lot of attention to detail on the renovation resulting in well laid out and spacious accommodation on a lovely tranquil plot next to the owners’ house. Met Graham (the owner) and Tia (the dog) who were both very friendly. Would definitely recommend for a visit to the Cotswolds.

"Lovely peaceful setting, located within the grounds of owners property."
Recently been developed to a high standard, with a book in the property detailing the renovation. Well equipped and even had supply of shower gel, hand wash and moisturiser! Would highly recommend.

"We had a lovely stay at The Cow Shed!"
Pretty much everything was thought of for us. The milk, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar were very thoughtful and welcomed.
Our only slight niggle was that the hot water didn’t stay hot for long enough, even after a 2 hour boost.
All in all, it was lovely! Lots of books available to read and some puzzles to do too. The Cow Shed was located in a lovely setting with lots of beautiful walks right on your doorstep!

Thanks also for your comment regarding the hot water. It's a Combi-Boiler which gives instant hot water but has no storage capacity so "Boost" will only prolong the "ON" period but not provide a reserve of hot water. We've now re-programmed it to be "ON" 24/7 which will solve this issue for the future.

"Lovely cottage, very welcoming with Christmas tree and festive goodies."
Spacious with good size TV. Steps too and from car and driveway a bit steep and not ideal for loading/ unloading the car. Lovely warm and cosy. Excellent information of the local area, places to eat, shop and visit. Owners very nice. Altogether a great spot.

"Fantastic accommodation."

"Extremely clean and well presented great facilities and it was like a home from home ."
It was so peaceful and we felt very welcome to stay there by the owners who appeared very approachable and friendly without being over bearing.Great information book on what was near by and it was lovely to read there book on the renovations to the farm .Thank you both .

"We enjoyed our stay immensely at The Cow Shed."
The cottage was clean, well equipped & very comfortable.
The property is located in the grounds of Graham & Pam's farm. We only met Pam, but she was very kind & helpful, & it was also lovely to meet their friendly Labrador, Tia.
The only negative part of our stay were the steps down to the Cow Shed from the parking area. They make it very difficult for anyone with mobility issues, but there is no mention of this in the Sykes listing for the property. A big error on their part. It would be a great help if some sort of hand rail was installed from the top of the steps all the way down to the cottage itself in the future.

When they listed the property, Manor Cottages' view was that the photos were sufficient to show the path and steps but we have now asked that they also add a note in the description which they have done. We are also looking at designing a handrail as you suggest.

"The Cow Shed is a beautiful property, we had a 2 night stay with our dog."
It was very clean, comfortable and renovated to a high standard. I suffer with sciatica, I often return home with back ache from sitting on an uncomfortable sofa, or sleeping on a cheap mattress, that was not a problem after staying here. It really felt like a home from home.
We loved looking through the picture book of the renovation work. It's a lovely touch, guests can see the work that has taken place over the past 3 years. We have already recommended this property to friends and would definitely stay again.

"This is a superb holiday property, well equipped and very clean."
I have just one suggestion, it should be mentioned in the description that the entrance to the property is down a steep shingled slope and steps which is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties. A handrail would make it safer. Apart from this it was perfect.

"We had a lovely peaceful stay at The Cow Shed."
The hosts were friendly and courteous. The Cow Shed offered extremely comfortable accommodation with lots of extra little luxuries provided. The location was perfect with many interesting places to visit nearby. We would not hesitate to return.
