  • "We had an absolutely fantastic Easter weekend in this beautiful cottage."

It was spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated and decorated, and super well-equipped with everything we needed and more. The location was great for exploring the local area but there was also enough space for relaxing in the dining room and sitting room back at the cottage. The owners were great at their attention to detail in giving information, leaving treats on our arrival and providing spare supplies if needed; as well as reassuring they were nearby if required, without being intrusive. We would thoroughly recommend Wallflower Cottage!

What a great endorsement and review, we really appreciate you taking the time to post it. We're delighted to hear you all enjoyed your stay at the cottage and were able to enjoy the local area. It’s always rewarding when guests really appreciate the little extra touches we provide. We’d love to welcome you back again should your travels bring you back to the area. • "The holiday cottage is lovely and comfortable with anything and everything you could think you’d need."

They even provided a bed, treats and toys for the dog! The owners were easy to contact and were so helpful. They left a hamper of essentials and a few treats too, which was more than welcome after a long drive. The garden is secure for a small dog. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this holiday cottage again.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback and for looking after our cottage so well. We were delighted you all enjoyed the hamper and your stay at the cottage. It goes without saying that we would love to welcome you and your family back again anytime. Property Owner

About the location

HEREFORD

Leominster 14 miles.

The cathedral city of Hereford dates back to Saxon times, and with its medieval bridge over the winding River Wye it is the very image of picturesque England. With a mix of buildings from almost every British era, eclectic Hereford is a popular base for those seeking to explore the locale – being ideally placed for accessing the Black and White villages of the region, not to mention the delights of neighbouring Shropshire, Worcestershire and The Cotswolds. Famous as a cider producing town, Hereford is also the home of the Mappa Mundi, the largest and most elaborate pre-15th century map in existence, which resides in the cathedral alongside the famous Chained Library – a collection of over 1500 rare books from as early as the 8th century. Nearby is the half timbered town of Leominster, filled with medieval buildings, often overhanging the street, and also accessible is the natural splendour of Symonds Yat, a rocky outcrop on a 5 mile bend of the River Wye, with spectacular views and the opportunity to spot protected peregrine falcons flying from their nests.
