  • "It was a lovely house, lots of extras supplied by the owners, Convenient location walking distance to shops, pubs and food places."

Across the road is a lovely lake to walk around, perfect for our dog.

  • "A great find in the heart of Newent town."

I've already recommended it to members of my family who have relatives in Newent! Nicely kitted out and furnished. You could tell the owners had stayed there themselves - with practicalities like plenty of hooks on doors and walls, bins in every room etc. The owner was very welcoming and ensured all our needs were met. Only draw-back was the single glazing, which was not a problem re warmth in November, but the front rooms were a little noisy as it is close to the road. (However we are from a very quiet area so not used to much noise at home!) The owner says she has plans to improve this in the future.

  • "Incredibly well equipped and spotlessly clean."

Fantastic welcome box and clear instructions how everything worked. A good base for exploring the surrounding area before a pint of real ale in cobblers.
