  • "Beautiful cottage, well decorated and furnished, parking outside."

Everything we needed was supplied. Prosecco, cake and milk a welcome gift on arrival. Great communication with owner.

  • "Really lovely cottage, very cosy, well appointed and nice welcome pack."

Only slight criticisms were the foot rail on the bed was restrictive for me (I'm 6'5'') and lack of parking outside property ( the notorious Smart car!).

Hi, thank you for your feedback, we're pleased liked the cottage but I'm so sorry about the notorious Smart car, this has now been resolved and is no longer parked outside. It was very frustrating for us as we didn't know who the owner was. All sorted now. Thank you for visiting Ross Cottage. Best regards, Claire. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was lovely and accurately described location wise, clean with most amenities."

However it was quite cosy for a small family of three and a medium sized dog. In the evenings when we wanted to relax and wind down baby free, it wasn’t the most comfortable with a small two seat sofa and armchair. Great to have an enclosed garden and conservatory. Unfortunately didn’t make use of the open fire, maybe next time! Overall we would recommend the cottage and great location. Easy to park on road - but as another review said, there was a smart car parked in front of the place the whole time! Not an issue though. Pub opposite worth a visit and the food there was great, really friendly service. Thanks for the stay!

Thank you for your great feedback, we’re sorry about the smart car, the owner has now moved this vehicle. We will investigate your feedback regarding the sofa and we hope to see you again in the future. Best wishes Claire Property Owner

  • "Very enjoyable stay, cottage was great with all the facilities you’d ever need."

Pub/restaurant across the road is a must-visit, both staff and locals were very friendly and helpful. Would love to come back again in the warmer weather. Only downside was the inconsiderate person who left their Smart car parked right outside our front door and didn’t move it all week. Having said that, there was other parking nearby. Overall 5 stars.

Thank you for your feedback, we're very pleased you enjoyed your stay at Ross Cottage. I'm sorry to hear about the Smart Car. We hope to see you again. Claire Property Owner

I particularly enjoyed the open fireplace, conservatory and enclosed garden. The welcome pack of milk, cake and prosecco was much appreciated. Parking on the street outside the property was never a problem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

  • "We had a lovely time at Ross Cottage, so much to see & do nearby while visiting our family nearby."

It is peaceful, and the cottage immaculate in every way, we felt like no one had stayed there before us. Lots of books to read & little extras and a beautiful garden to relax in if the weather is good or if not a pretty garden room to chill in. Amazing hand wash and body wash shampoo etc all supplied we did not want for anything. We stay in places to visit our family many times but Ross cottage has been the best by far and we felt so sad to leave & hope to return very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you for your lovely feedback, we are very happy you enjoyed your stay and we hope to host you at Ross Cottage again soon. Claire Property Owner
