This historic, picturesque village lies in the heart of the beautiful South Shropshire countryside and is set amidst renowned scenic walking and cycling country. The village's outstanding landmark is Caynham Camp, a huge Bronze Age/Iron Age earthwork which covers a site of eight acres at the summit, from which wonderful views can be enjoyed. Only 3 miles away is Ludlow, whose medieval street pattern remains almost intact, and provides a fascinating backdrop for the town's regular street markets, held in the shadow of the castle. Ludlow is renowned for its shopping, and has several Michelin-starred restaurants, as well as numerous tea-shops, pubs and inns. Below the 900 year old castle, the Linney Riverside Park offers boats for hire, a putting green and children's play area. Home from home, very relaxing. First time we've done this but would definitely do it again.

Mr Stevenson, Stoke-on-Trent, February 2014

Nice and spacious. Handy for Ludlow.

Mr Margerison, Oakham, November 2013

Glebe Barn is a spacious and well-appointed place for a holiday. The area around Ludlow is really interesting, even in mid November and we found plenty to do. There are beautiful local churches, good walks and a range of good restaurants. Ludlow Market was a good place to browse and buy. The owners are really friendly and helpful and made our stay a relaxed and pleasant one.

Mr Meredith, Whitland, November 2013

It was spacious yet warm and cosy. Very tastefully decorated to a high standard. A beautiful barn conversion. The owners were charming and friendly.
