  • "We stayed a week at The Tannery in Dec 2023."

The newly renovated Cottage is swish & spotlessly clean. The kitchen is modern & well equipped & the cosy living room with a log burner is lovely. Our king size bedroom was marvellous & had one of the most comfortable beds ever. Although the cottage is right in the centre of Much Wenlock, just a short walk from pubs and shops. The welcome guide was really useful and had several, easy to follow walks from the doorstep which we tried out with our dog. The village pubs, The George & Dragon and The Fox Inn were very welcoming, dog friendly, and served great food at reasonable prices. A bit further afield we enjoyed Ironbridge & Shrewsbury, a visit to the Prison is recommended. Also, The Wreckin'. The views are well worth the climb. A great place for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of England.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. It really is appreciated. So glad you tried out some of the walks. Sounds like you really got out and explored what Shropshire has to offer. Hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards Darren. Property Owner

  • "Just excellent!"

    !

That’s absolutely great Janine. Thank you so much for our first wonderful review And feedback on this new venture of ours. We are so glad our cottage exceeded your expectations. It’s always a bit nerve wracking getting your first guests in. So we have just got to keep up the standard now and improve where we can for future guests. And we very much hope that you will return soon too! Kindest regards Darren & Kate. Property Owner
