  • "We had a great week over Easter holidays this year, stayed 31st March to 6th April."

We were looking for a house big enough to accommodate two families with teenagers, a bit last minute, and this house was fantastic and great value as it was off season. The house itself was spotlessly clean with loads of space inside it and around it. It was v cosy in the evening with heating set to automatically come on, we didnt need to adjust anything. There was a great patio outside and although not warm enough to sit out, my husband found it a great spot to set up his telescope for some excellent star gazing. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We brought alot of food down with us, which was a good idea, as there is just one small grocery shop in the village and the next option is a drive to schull. There is loads to do in the area and we went to beach almost every day for dips in the Atlanic, went on a couple of hikes and launched our kayak from pier in the village. Overall, great house, great week. Thanks a million, Cathriona

Thank you very much for your very positive feedback . We are delighted you found the house to be spotlessly clean and well equipped . We too enjoy the lovely local beaches and amazing skies at night . The local village is small but has a big welcoming heart especially the local pubs , tourist office , village shop and butchers .The Wild West Pub does some great food plus music nights , there is even a fish and chip van open during the holiday season . • "Lovely big house in a great position, but we spent the first two days cleaning it, evacuating spiders, and sorting the bins (which had not been done for ages) and the house itself has been neglected…such a shame!"

Facilities were very good but cleaners doing bare minimum.

We have spoken to our cleaner regarding the issues mentioned . She was very concerned about your comments as she sets herself very high standards . Our house is carefully cleaned after each guest stay . We strive to ensure that the house is well maintained . Recently renovation work has been carried out on external areas of our property . We do advise guests , in the house information booklet, of the procedure for the local rural refuse collection that we subscribe to . Property Owner

Glad you liked our home and enjoyed the wonderful views. PS We have now supplied a coffee machine for our guests. Property Owner
