  • "This is my second time of staying at Pebble Bay, it’s a great location for an area I know well."

    I will be back again.

We are happy you enjoyed your second visit to Pebble Bay and very much look forward to welcoming you back. Property Owner

  • "The property is lovely."

The extractor fan in the bathroom could do with a clean, does not look good. Really strange that towels are not provided. I go away six times a year and have never had a property which does not provide towels. Not a major issue but a bit inconvenient.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Pebble Bay, a very nice property with everything required for a one week stay."

Being so new the house is faultless. The welcome pack and the dog treats on arrival was a nice addition. The fully enclosed garden was very useful for a JRT who would have found a way out if there was one. Appledore seems very dog friendly, we can recommend the Flame Factory (great pizzas and burgers) for a sit in meal, and the fish and chips from the Royal Plaice are very good. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again when in the area.

Thank you so much for your kind review. So happy you enjoyed your stay and your little dog was safe in the garden. Appledore is so dog friendly and hope he enjoyed his treat on arrival. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back to Pebble Bay. Property Owner

  • "Great location and the house was very well equipped for a comfortable holiday."

It is newly built so excellent bathroom, kitchen and heating facilities and a small, enclosed garden. A fifteen minute walk along a lane and we were in Appledore and it's only a 10 minute drive to the beaches at Westward Ho and Instow. We had a lovely time.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We are happy you enjoyed staying with us at Pebble Bay. Property Owner

  • "Really lovely, very new, property."

It was very clean and all the furniture, fixtures and fittings were of a good standard. It was very quiet generally with the odd bit of traffic noise at peak time, not that we really noticed. The location is excellent and you can get to most if the main areas easily. We walked to Appledore a couple of times which took us approximately 10 minutes, noting it is a steep downhill into the village. It is well served with a couple of good pubs and eateries. We had some comms with Nikki the owner who was lovely and could not have been more helpful. We will certainly stay again when in Devon.

Thank you so much for your feedback and so happy you enjoyed your stay and Appledore. We look forward to welcoming you back again to Pebble Bay. Property Owner

  • "Pebble Bay is a fantastic house and in a great location."

Clean and fresh and very well fitted out. It has everything you would wish for a holiday let. We loved the welcome prosecco, scones, jam and cream. The house is a short car journey to all amenities and the beach. Plus the beds are very very comfortable! Shower very powerful and kitchen has everything you need should you chose to stay in and cook as we did. Directions and access were easy. We will definitely use this accommodation again.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We so enjoy making our guests stay as comfortable as possible. We very much look forward to welcoming you back to Pebble Bay. Property Owner

  • "A lovely property located on the outskirts of Appledore, just a short 10-15 minute walk in to the centre."

The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The cream tea on arrival was much appreciated and there was even a bowl and some treats for our dog. A wonderful area with some beautiful beaches and walks. Lots of dog friendly restaurants in Appledore and the surrounding villages/towns. We would love to stay again next time we are visiting the area.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Pebble Bay and the delights of Appledore too. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you back again one day. Property Owner

  • "A lovely brand new home with everything needed for a short stay."

Nothing we didn't like but perhaps you could compile a booklet on "places to visit" etc and recommendations for eateries too. We enjoyed Westward Ho and spent an evening or two there at the bar overlooking the beautiful sandy beach and the Thai restaurant was lovely.

Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We have now included an information pack with places to visit etc. We are happy you enjoyed your stay at Pebble Bay. Property Owner

  • "Lovely clean property, secure garden for your furbabies."

Cream tea & strawberries were a welcome bonus after a long drive. I think Sykes should tell people that the estate is still under construction due to the builders turning up early and there is noise. Also waze does not recognise the postcode or the name Riverview the signage is actually 'Estuary View' but these issues do not deflect what a nice property Pebble Bay is

Thank you so much Michelle for your feedback. Also for your letter you left for us. All the pointers you mentioned have been taken on board and we have acted on them all. We really appreciate any feedback. We have already bought tea cups for your Mum. So sorry they were not available when you stayed at Pebble Bay. Property Owner
