  • "We spent 2 weeks here over Easter and really enjoyed our stay."

Lynsey the owner was very friendly and on the one occasion we needed some help she was there in minutes. This is a great base for exploring north Devon. The beach at Woolacombe was our favourite place, our dog loved it and the cafe is excellent. Barnstaple was our favourite for shopping and the Williams Arms at Braunton does a great carvery every day. We will be back!

Dear Yvette, thank you so much for taking the time to put such a great review on here for us, so glad you all had a good holiday, despite the challenging weather! So much rain! Thanks again and you guys of course are all welcome again anytime in the future. Kindest regards Lindsey Property Owner

  • "The property was spotless and comfy and after sorting the heating was nice and cosy in a quiet but convenient position for either Hele beach or into Ilfracombe as well as driving either to Woolacombe or Coombe Martin and beyond."

The owner is only to eager to help with any problem which is so nice to know.

Dear Mary, many thanks for taking the time to review your stay and for your positive review and kind words regarding our home, which was lovely to read. We really hope you all enjoyed your stay. Thankyou so much, kindest regards and happy new year to you. Property Owner

  • "This is a lovely, cosy holiday home."

It has everything you could possibly need and is in a great location with beautiful views. The sun room off the kitchen is so nice. There are very steep steps up to the house but fortunately for me who has balance issues there is an alternative route down to the road in front of two other homes that is safe and fine to use. We met the owner of the first home who was very friendly. We would happily stay there again.

Dear Marjorie and Michael, thanks so much for providing such lovely feedback and we are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are glad you made use of the shared access as those steps can be tiring for anyone but especially for people with balance issues. You would be most welcome to return anytime in the future. • "Lovely house in a quiet area."

Location was great and within walking distance of Hele Bay and Ilfracombe harbour. Property had all the facilities you need, and owners left some body boards which my kids loved. Would use again.

Hi Andrew, thanks so much for your feedback and kind words about our house. We would of course be more than happy to welcome you and your family again anytime. Really glad you made use of the body boards to. Property Owner

  • "Nice quite place to stay in."

Facilities good but felt it could do with a tumble dryer as if the weather is not good difficult to dry any washing. Instructions on disposing of waste could be made better aswell. Otherwise we are thinking of returning next year.

Hi Nick, many thanks for your feedback and kind words. We have since tried to make the instructions on waste disposal a bit simpler for guests. We understand they are quite complex and different to other council areas. Our road is a private road so sometimes the collection staff change the rules so thanks for your efforts with this.We will consider the tumble drier as in wet days it isn't so easy to dry washing in the sun lounge. Thanks again and we hope to welcome you all again. kind regards Property Owner
