"Wonderful place to stay."
Very comfortable and clean. Welcome bag a lovely treat and lots of information available. I would suggest a Smart tv as those with accounts for Netflix etc could access for those rainy days, especially during the winter months. I was disappointed there wasn’t an option to order logs for my arrival, but this is a small request during winter months when you don’t want to drive out to find some. All in all a lovely peaceful stay during December when the rest of the world is going crazy Christmas shopping!

Everything you need is there.
Downside with the arch at the gate I am 5’9 and kept catching my head, gate doesn’t lock properly, had to watch the dog on his own in the garden.
Thank you for your feedback. Our gardener has now adjusted the arch above the front gate and also has pruned back the plants over it. We have also adjusted the latch on the gate so that it is fully functional again.

"Lovely cottage, comfy bed, very clean."
Front door lock drove me mad as the lock needs replacing and it was always difficult to insert the key from outside as the slim key rarely lined up with the lock.
Also, the front gate latch needs re-fixing as it does not latch easily unless you lift the gate whilst closing. With a dog that's crucial!

"Blissful Hope Cottage!"
Thank you for yet another extremely enjoyable holiday in your comfortable holiday cottage. Everything you could possibly think of is provided. Very comfortable beds for a good night's sleep after walking the coastal footpaths. Enjoyed sitting and eating outside in the pretty garden. Will definitely be booking again!

"Lovely cottage in a lovely village."
Weather was kind, which made it even better. Beautiful coastline, friendly locals, what more could you want. Smugglers Kitchen a little gem.

"Spot on, comfortable quintessential stone cottage, homely tastefully dressed, kitchen fully perfectly equipped, thoughtful goody bag on arrival, clean everywhere , bed linens all good, front Garden so full/tended pretty safe for our dogs with supervision."
Position great only seconds shops/pub slow walk ten minutes wonderful beach/sea. Car park safe behind cottage just big enough for our Volvo C40 so very happy with everything great property, envious of lucky owners

"Superb. If I was to have a holiday cottage I would use this as a prime example."
If I had to find fault (this is really minor) I would not have the travel guide leaflets in such a prominent position.(as i say a really minor thought)

"This is an ideal cottage for exploring this area."
The village itself has everything you could need although the welcome pack was very good for getting us started. The dogs loved it and the enclosed front garden was safe and interesting enough for them. Good places to eat in the village and a short walk down to the beach. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Our car (Renault Scenic) fitted the parking space perfectly although the car park is just across the road anyway. Overall a really lovely place to stay.

"Main concerns were the rules your company set for staying in the property."
You seem to have kept to all the covid rules regarding bedding, bins, and general cleanliness even though covid had been relaxed.
When I go on holiday like most people I want to get away from changing the beds , doing housework and putting the bins out, your rules we very strict as in saying we would be charged for not doing so , this is why I would not recommend your company , it’s such a shame as we enjoyed the property very much. "I have stayed in Hope Cottage with different family members many times over the past 18 years."
This year the cottage is better equipped than ever before. The beds are more comfortable than any I have slept in. Everything possible has been thought of and provided. We could not have been more happy with our holiday home. Thank you!
