  • "Our welcome pack of biscuits had a use by date of April 2023."

Left a note as they were soft and a glass of instant coffee was rock hard. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Thank you for the 5 star review! So glad you enjoyed your stay. We're so sorry about the welcome pack - our housekeeping company assures us this was a one-off and absolutely won't happen again. If you ever come back to the barn we'll make sure there's a little extra in the welcome pack waiting for you next time! :) Property Owner

  • "Our second stay at Bridgend Barn!"

We love it here; the house is so comfortable and very well designed. Our girls (5 and 7) love the upstairs bedroom with its own bathroom, its such a cool room for children. The kitchen is a lovely hub of the house with wonderful views out of the windows. We love too the lounge with its log burner and awesome big television. We liked it all as much in the winter as the summer. The village is great with a few good pubs to choose from, our favourite is the Swan. In short this is a wonderful place to stay in a wonderful place.

  • "I appreciate that we had near gale force winds, however the post and stone are insufficient to hold the gate in those circumstances."

One morning it was leaning against my brand new car (3 weeks old).

Hi Bernard, thank you for the positive ratings, and we hope you had a nice stay. If you return we recommend parking away from the driveway - there's plenty of room for a few cars on the gravel - and then closing the gate, especially in heavy winds! But we appreciate the feedback - we shall certainly add that advice to the guide for future guests! Property Owner

  • "We are missing the comforts of Bridgend Barn."

A delightful place to stay, and we appreciated the extra touches of wellington boots to borrow, good books to read, I stayed up till11.45 pm to finish Where The Crawdads sing, flowers and biscuits, shopping bags. Excellent crib sheet of the facilities in the Barn and where to go, eat and shop. It was great to see so many different types of pictures and loved the sculptures. Thoroughly recommend this property, so clean as well, all credit goes to the cleaning company employed by the owners.

  • "Bridgend barn was the perfect stay!"

The place was highly equipped with more than you would need, including bits for the beach and crabbing. Nespresso coffee machine, high quality TV, perfect location, and so much more. Down the road is two lovely pubs, about a 7 minute walk, both located next to the river. The house had lots of parking and has a lovely garden/ patio you can sit out on! We will definitely be back!

  • "We had a lovely holiday at Bridgend Barn."

The location is very special and the barn itself is charming, very spacious and well-equipped, with lots of lovely thoughtful extras. There’s plenty to do in and around the local area and, in particular, some lovely beaches to visit. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
