  • "Central location is good."

    Kitchen is good overall , although flooring by the sink is torn and could cause an accident. Fridge shelving is inadquate - shelf to store bottles in door is missing. Shower room is good but reported very poor shower head /water flow on our stay. Delighted this was changed the following day and vastly improved shower facility. Also asked for curtain which was hanging off the rail to be repaired , this was again done the following day. Found the apartment to be a little tired and in need of some TLC , curtains and settees would benefit from replacement as appear quite shabby now. One last comment is that the Owners pay some attention to the entrance - the stairs/windows really need cleaning down and the moss removing from the doorway. This would provide a more welcoming arrival and first impression. Loved Lyme Regis and would recommend a stay as the area, beaches shops, cafes and restaurants are excellent.

  • "I always book with Lyme bay holidays."

    This flat was in a great location but it needs attention. The carpets need washing they are filthy and the shower glass is immaculate but the black mould and scum on the bottom needs cleaning out . Also there are cigarette butts and muck on the outside of the door. I understand these are communal stairs but it is quite off putting when yr a non smoker. Sorry guys but on this occasion the accommodation wasn’t great I won’t book this again.

  • "Apartment is located in a good position on the main street in Lyme Regis."

    Handy for the beach and local shops if you run out of anything. Interior of the property was comfortable although getting a little tired. However it was adequate for our needs and well equipped. First impressions are important and attention to the stairs leading to the apartment and a general tidy up in the vicinity would greatly improve matters. The stairs were mentioned in a previous review and whilst accepting they are shared would only appear to lead to one apartment higher up. Access via archway is tight and anything wider than our mazda 2 would have struggled. All things considered we had a good week .

    Thank you for your comments regarding the access to the parking space. We do provide clear information on the width of the archway to allow drivers to make their own judgment as to whether their vehicle will fit through it. We will discuss the maintenance of the shared external stairway with the owners, but as mentioned previously it is the responsibility of the landlord to maintain this. We hope you enjoyed your stay.   • "The first impression on arriving at Orkanagan was not good, the external stairs was very dirty and there was a lot of discarded cigarette ends."

    The curtains was hanging down in the living area. In the double bedroom, the curtains were hanging down and the door was off the wardrobe. The door was propped inside the wardrobe so it was difficult to hang our clothes properly. During a telephone conversation on the Saturday we arrived I was told that because we was staying for 2 weeks someone would bring fresh bed linen and towels halfway through the holiday, this never happened. I could go on but I'm sure you get the picture.In our opinion Okanagan is a very basic and overpriced apartment what desperately needs updating. The only positive feedback is it's clean and is in a good location to explore Lyme Regis. Would me and my family stay here again, absolutely not!

  • "Nice little clean self contained flat, perfect for Lyme Regis Town centre and beach."

    Very comfortable double bed with a super thick mattress which was perfect for a good night sleep. Lovely shower.
