  • "The lodge was very well appointed and within easy reach of the coast and other attractions."

It was nice to have a pool on site. Having two walk in showers was a real bonus with elderly parents. We had a lovely two week holiday

  • "A clean and well equipped lodge on a generally well kept site."

The only thing to be improved would be the information in the lodge.... no details on how to operate the TV, and no general information on how to leave the lodge. No details either on how to use the key fob to gain site access. No info on local shops/pubs A general information booklet on the site local amenities and shops would be useful ...we have had such info at other Sykes cottages.

Thank you for your feedback. Information and instructions on all appliances can be found in the kitchen drawer, where you will also find a letter rack containing the guest book full of references to shops, and local amenities in the area. We have since updated our key collection details, where full instructions are provided. Property Owner

  • "Lovely position on a well maintained site, lodge was clean and comfortable, only issue was WIFI quality."

  • "Our stay at Springfield lodge was amazing, our whole family had such a lovely time."

There was lots of things to do on site and off site. The friendly staff made our stay even better, always there to help with any questions we had. The pool area was always kept clean and tidy. Springfield lodge had everything we needed and more, it's in an idilic location with beautiful views and peace and quiet. Our only tiny grumble is that it states that there is sky TV but this was the most basic of packages, and the sites WiFi was very hard to get a signal so needed to pay extra for each Divice we wanted to use. Maybe WiFi would be better than sky?? This however did not effect us having an amazing time. Thankyou Springfield lodge we will be back!

We loved our short stay. It is ideally situated with most areas of interest within a 30 minute drive.

  • "We had a lovely stay and Scott was very helpful."

Van was well equipped but a parasol would have been lovely, as the decking gets the sun all day so wasn’t able to sit out on the decking

  • "Peaceful location, very comfortable inside with good quality fittings."

I couldn’t find a hairdryer or an outlet to charge an electric toothbrush but this didn’t detract from a lovely stay, next time I’d bring my own hairdryer and adapter for my toothbrush. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay

lovely quiet park with pool no shops or bar on site but we knew that and many local hostelries nearby for meals. handy for dartmoor and all south devon area will definatly stay here again. overall a quiet relaxing park with plenty of space between lodges. shops in local villages easily reached.

  • "Very well presented, immaculately clean and comfortable."

Nice friendly and relaxing site. Good location to get to surrounding areas of interest. My only comment about the lodge is the front door sticks, probably just needs adjusting, a gate on the decking would have been good if you have dogs. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. We are pleased to hear you found our property to be immaculately clean and comfortable. In reference to the front door, due to changing weather conditions, this can sometimes expand or contract and we will be happy to take a look at this. In the meantime we will have taken your suggestion of putting a gate on the decking on board, and will look to do this shortly. Thank you again for your comments. Property Owner

  • "The lodge was very good, it was as advertised to a tee."

I would definitely recommend for devon/cornwall days out. Nice quiet site, with a games room, and an excellent pub less than a mile away.

  • "Overall really enjoyed our stay, lodge was very comfortable and clean and would definately recommend."

Little disappointed that wi fi description didn't reflect that it was actually unusable at the lodge location and that the smart tv could only be used via personal mobile which, with limited data, effectively restricted its use. Advanced warning of this would have been appreciated. Needed to purchase large pan as nothing suitable in lodge and also suspect gas pressure at hob was too high as it was impossible to simmer any food. Some written details of site access process and details of waste recycling and location of bins would also be useful.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. Lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay at Springfield. We do not advertise the smart TV, but we do provide a Sky package due to the lodge not having Wi-Fi. Currently we are updating our welcome folder and will ensure we include the location of the bins onsite. Property Owner

Home from Home. Decking area perfect. Having a washing machine added bonus. Plus the property allows 2 well behaved dogs.

  • "We thought the Lodge was very well presented and contained everything we needed."

Pleased we found it just as shown in photos. Very clean and well equipped, a real home from home, could have easily accommodated 2 more without any problem, having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Also site was wonderfully quiet. Dog exercise field a real bonus. For the owners; ensuite sink plug locked down and we couldn't release it a chair for clothes in main bedroom hook or rail for towels in bathrooms gate for verandah would allow dog outside access

Hi there, the owner has now added a towel rail and a chair into the bedroom. He will consider adding a gate. Thank you for the great suggestions! Property Owner
