The surroundings were beautiful. Surrounded by goats and horses as well as lovely lakes . In the middle of nowhere but not to far if you needed anything. And the garden was fully secured to let the dog run about . We had an amazing time and would love to return in the future .

"We had a lovely time at Spicery barn loft."
We were greeted by the owners.
The Loft was very clean & equipped with all the necessary items, a real home away from home. The scones, jam & cream were a lovely welcoming treat. The hot tub was great to relax in after being out all day sight seeing around Devon.

It was a perfect getaway and the dog loved it. Owners were so lovely and left a little treat for ourselves and the dog which was lovely.

"Lovely cottage set in fabulous surroundings everything you needed was available in the cottage."
The only downside was the road you had to drive down to gain access to the cottage. The road was full of potholes and ruts and loose gravel which meant a low speed was neccessary to avoid any damage to your car anybody with a sports car or load riding car beware it is not suitable the driveway road to the cottage was fine once you got of the country track. Very enjoyable short break.

The loft is absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed! The views from the hot tub are great and our little pooch loved watching the goats next door. The little touches of the homemade scones and dog treats were a real hit!

Lovely waking to the animals around the farm. Crossed the owner one day who was very approachable asking how our stay was and if we needed anymore clean towels/linen etc

"Had a lovely weekend away at Sarah and Rob’s holiday accommodation ‘The Loft’."
Accommodation was well furnished and comfortable for a relaxing getaway. Hot tub in a prime spot for views across the back. Tried our hand at fishing on the lakes (even caught a couple). Friendly goats to greet you in the morning. Perfect location for visiting Dartmoor or S
shopping in Exeter. For those wanting to travel further to the coast can visit Exmouth and Sidmouth. Owners very communicative and friendly in person/via the Sykes Cottages app. Would highly recommend. Look forward to returning.

It was beautiful & the settings so peaceful! We didn’t want to leave!
Only thing I could suggest would be coverage over the hottub for the winter months but this did not affect our usage!

"The location was lovely, access roads are slightly difficult especially if in a car so consider when travelling to."
The facilities were as described, clean and all working. Unfortunately the bed was extremely uncomfortable, I would suggest investing in a mattress topper as this may help with how firm the mattress is. Overall a lovely place but hard to enjoy on very little sleep

"Beautiful location."
Acres of green fields to relax the eyes and a couple of goats to keep the dog busy. Seriously, if you're looking for a peaceful getaway with all the amenities you could ask for, near both beaches and countryside walks then you should definitely book this place. We'll definitely be booking again and again.

"We’ve Just returned from a wonderful weeks holiday at The Loft."
Accommodation was immaculate and beautifully presented throughout even down to the free gifts on arrival. I can’t stress enough how great everything was. Also the most friendliest goats on-site made the stay even better. Thank you. Will definitely be booking again for next year.

"We had an amazing stay, including our fur baby!"
He especially liked staring at our neighbouring goats every day. Facilities were outstanding and the owners greeted us soon after we arrived.
Even though we were remote we were within 30-40mins away from the beach or dog friendly walks.
Would definitely stay again.
