  • "Great house."

Only downside was when all showers are being used, the water boiler didn’t refill as fast as it was being used.

  • "Very comfy well appointed house."

We really enjoyed our stay. Just a few issues with heating/radiators and a cold house but these were almost resolved with a visit from the maintenance man. Would have liked locks on the bathroom doors, but overall a very relaxing weekend.

  • "Pros-House is beautiful no complaints, well equipped, beds very comfy so are the sofas."

11 of us from 3 - 65 years old & plenty of space. Each family had own floor & bathroom. Everyone very pleased with accommodation & facilities. Cons-Had to get maintenance out to bleed radiators but think heating was capped cos weather turned cold & wet & house cold. We couldn't get heating warmer so bathtime very quick process specially for the young ones. Parking nightmare, said we had 2 parking permits but parking was taken by people working in town or using the park opposite! Car park behind house think £25 for 7 days bargain unless you own camper van & we can't use it! Seeing as I'm 65 & paid 2.5k for week i had no intention of sleeping in camper! Seeing as its our primary vehicle & double yellow lines everywhere around house huge problems!

We're pleased you were able to enjoy a wonderful holiday with your wider family. The property offers two parking permits for the local car park, but we do make it clear that the spaces aren't reserved as it's a public car park. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "I appreciate it was peak school holiday time and the accommodation was excellent but it was still very pricey."

There was a bond taken of £250 but it wasn't easy to send you a photo of some damage that we noticed as we arrived at the property and we worried that we would later be charged for this damage.

We're sorry to hear that you noticed some damages to the property, and thank you for being so conscientious in reporting this to us. We hope that you had an enjoyable stay. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

Was pleasantly surprised on entering property lovely well mantained and stocked, shame about first impression as certainly let it down.

  • "The house was amazing."

Very spacious with lots of places for our family to hang out all together or in smaller groups. Lots of toilets and bathrooms. Loved the laundry room. Plenty of cups and crockery etc. Everything lovely and clean. Close to the seafront and beach and the weather was also wonderful while we were there. Plenty of games in the sitting room. Parking worked well and shops were close. Information at the house was good. We only had 1 front door key for 10 people, which was quite surprising, but wasn´t a problem in the end. We looked for more in the house but didnt find any. The back patio wasn´t very clean when we arrived and we ended up not using it as it seemed to get messed up by the seagulls. We had plenty of space inside and in front. A shade in the front would be good. There was one in a box in the laundry room but it didnt seem to have a stand. These are small things and the overall experience was wonderful.

  • "Lovely house, nicely decorated throughout and looks newly refurbished."

Great location just steps from the beech. You need to bring your own laundry liquid if you wish to use the washing machine and dryer.

The owner has taken much care in renovating the property to so it's great to hear that it has met up holiday expectations. Although we provide an initial supply of consumables (toilet rolls, hand soap etc) we do not offer more bespoke supplies of washing detergents. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "We have now stayed at 7 Seafield Road twice and it’s been wonderful both times."

The house is lovely & clean and made to feel like a home. Perfect for us with young children being opposite the park & a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed days out at Sidmouth & Lyme Regis, not forgetting the Donkey Sanctuary which is about a 10/15 minute drive. Be sure to check out the local Chinese takeaway - delicious! Thanks again for an amazing stay.

  • "The house has been refurbished to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped."

We were a family group - 6 adults and 4 children of varying ages - and the flexibility of the accommodation was very helpful. For younger children the play park opposite was a bonus! Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "Absolutely LOVELY property, had everything we needed, everything worked fine (particularly the showers) and the house is in a lovely position."

The front door got stuck, but that was resolved quickly and efficiently, so no complaints at all. (Don’t publish this bit….I am nit-picking, but the weeds in the back garden let it down a bit…..and I think more could be done to make that space quite useable).

Thank you for your 100% score, it is so lovely to see and hear that you enjoyed the property. Your comments have been taken on board and new furniture has been purchased for the front and back garden. We very much hope that you will return back to 7 Seafield in the near future. Warm wishes.
