  • "Great cottage in an excellent location, some lovely walks straight from the door My only gripe (for want of a better word!"

) is the over the bath shower, this really needs to be either replaced or sorted out as it is very poor That very small moan is the only thing that was not particularly good as everything else was great I would highly recommend this cottage and we WILL be looking to see when we can come back

  • "The drainage in the bathroom was less than inadequate."

I was really disappointed that the owners did not forewarn us. I don’t expect to be cleaning sludge / sewage and other unsightly grime from the bath & sink whilst trying to enjoy a break away with family. We still made the most of our break thanks to the lovely surrounding and nearby places to visit. But it was the not knowing what we were going to be faced with that put a damper on things

  • "We have stayed here a number of times and find that it does have all we need."

It is comfortable and has a great location to walk into Dorchester. The garden is secure for our dog which is a needed as he will take himself off for a walk. We had a problem with the WiFi but a quick text and the owner sent someone to sort it within a couple of hours. So all in all a great stay and we will be back as the surrounding area has so much to offer.

  • "The bungalow was exactly what was expected."

I agree with some of the previous comments about it being a little dated. However made me less worried about dirty dog paws. My only negative comments would be that the mattress and pillows in the small room definitely need replacing, mattress was very uncomfortable and pillows hard. Also the shower needs a pump, very poor water power meaning I needed to use a jug over the bath to wash my hair. The bungalow is in a great location for walks and close to the town whilst still feeling rural.

  • "Very nice cottage in perfect position within walking distance of excellent pub,The Sun and Dorchester town centre."

Very clean and comfortable beds. Bedrooms quite small but ok. Internet slow but acceptable. Rear garden to lawn and secure for dogs. Can hear passing traffic but not offensive. Would recommend to anyone interested.
