• "We had a great time in this comfortable homely cottage."

  We had an issue with the rubbish bin and the condition of the kitchen floor (I contacted Dream Cottages and they were very helpful - the floor looks dirty, but I believe the marks are ground in). The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. It's only a 10 minute walk into the town - parking would be an issue, as there were no spaces available the weekend we were there. As we'd stayed in this area previously, we were aware of this, so came by train. We would definitely stay here again.

  It is really nice house with everything that you need. So close to walk into the centre of Weymouth, only a 10 min walk. I would highly recommend!

• "Overall we had a lovely stay."

  We found the house to be a good size for the three of us, (2 adults, 1 toddler) It was light and airy. Excellent location, only 10 min walk into town. Worth bearing in mind it's up a massive hill. We got a good work out each day! Only negatives, we found the parking to be a bit hit or miss, especially on the weekend. We were grateful for the child facilities but found the travel cot mattress to be way too small for the cot itself. We had to pad it out with towels and our baby didn't sleep very well. If wed have known we would have brought our own. Would also have loved the main space to be a bit more child proof. Socket covers would have been amazing, maybe a latch on the fire guard to stop it from being pulled down. Thanks for a good stay.

• "We enjoyed our stay at Owl’s Rest very much."

  We parked our car on the day of arrival and didn’t use it again until we were driving home. We walked everywhere all week as it was lovely sunny weather and found the Rodwell trail to Portland Harbour which was great. We would just like to raise that perhaps you could leave details of how to get to the town centre/beach from Owl’s Rest in your information folder. It was only a 10 minute walk and wasn’t an issue for us as we had visited Weymouth on a number of occasions but if your guests are new to the area they may need guidance through the residential area. The location of Owl’s Rest was perfect and I’m sure we will be back! Thank you.

  Many thanks for your kind words of feedback, and like most guests, they have no issue with parking and enjoy being able to walk to all local attractions, the beach, harbourside, marina, Nothe Fort, town centre, shops and restaurants. I Understand your comment about notes of how to walk into the town entre it he information pack. I will speak with Dream Cottages, the agent, as they handle these aspects.
