  • "Little Wharf is a delight."

    Very well equipped with everything you may need. Comfotable and cosy as well. Its location is quiet with views of the hills and walks near. Plenty of places to eat locally and breakfast available at the Farm Shop and Loxton (Frankie Howerd hub) Thank you Amy and James, and it was a pleasure to meet you.

A delightful, rural village on the fringe of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bleadon is an ideal base for a peaceful break, it has the essential amenities including a village shop, a pub and a well-respected farm shop with a café, it is also home to Bleadon Hill a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The village comes with great history as it is home to a Grade I listed church dating back to the 14th century, there is also evidence of agricultural work dating back to the medieval period. Bleadon also lies on the River Axe, once used as a port. There are lots of good places to visit around Bleadon, close by there is the popular seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, as well as Brean with its Animal Farm Adventure Park and Leisure Park. Further afield is the stunning city of Bristol, as well as the historical town of Glastonbury which boasts beautiful architecture and is home to one of the biggest music festivals in the world.
