It was warm - we were winter guests - and cosy. Everything was clean and in working order. We loved the shower. I do feel new pillows are in order, though. Mine were not comfortable. Sorry I forgot to put the dishwasher on. I got it ready but forgot to press go.

  • "We arrived around 4."

30pm on our first day to a warm and lovely cottage. The rooms were so spacious and a nice welcome box of shortbread with a cup of coffee made the perfect start. We booked this cottage back in Nov 2021 so it was a long time coming but well worth the wait. The owner was very helpful by leaving the cottage ready for us to use without any key fussing or trying to locate things just fantastic week. The only down side was our departure day which was a freak of nature and the flooding around Scotland caused us to stop near a village in Loch Lomond as landslides and water in the road prevented us getting home so we had to sleep in our small car and get home the following day. A great week in the cottage spoilt by the journey home but we got back eventually. For any new customers going to this property you will not be disappointed and it has so many great views.

It is warm and well equipped for 4. Constant hot water. 2 large luxurious bathrooms. The cottage is situated halfway between Broadford to the South and Portree to the North so ideal for touring. Th owner Nikki is attentive and answered emails promptly. This is a true gem.

Exactly what listing said. Was worried about entry process but owner lives nearby and went off without a hitch. It is 12 winding miles from any real stores and at that distance a grill would have been nice. But beautiful surroundings and if you wanna get away, this is a great spot and property.

It was a perfect getaway from the city and all the hustle and bustle that comes with it. There are so many beautiful hiking trails nearby, you won't be able to stop exploring for hours on end. The cottage is beautifully decorated with a lot of warmth and comfort. From washing machine to dishwasher, this accomodation has it all plus more. Only little grumble is the matresses could be better but its the least of my worries when i spent 95% of the time out of the house. Loved this place and would love to visit again.

Nikki (owner) was lovely and friendly and made some great recommendations, the Noost is a short walk from the cottage for takeaway lunch, the ferry to Rasaay was also a must do, all within walking distance. The cottage lies half way between Portree and Broadford, so perfect for both. I cannot recommend Tigh na Creag more, so relaxing and comfortable, thanks Nikki
