  • "I really enjoyed my stay - lovely grounds, good cafe and right location for my visit to Hampshire."

    The reasons I didn’t give full marks for cleanliness - the toilet brush needed replacing and the kettle needed de-scaling. Comfort - the chairs were really uncomfortable! These are minor things but could make the stay absolutely perfect.

    Thank you for highlighting these issues and we have taken action. I am sorry that you found the chairs uncomfortable we will look into this and in the meantime we have introduced extra cushions. Lying in the heart of Test Valley midway between Andover and Romsey is the tranquil town of Stockbridge, well-known for being one of the smallest towns in the United Kingdom and famed for its excellent fly-fishing, here you’ll find the oldest fishing club in England, Houghton Fishing Club.
