  • "Fabulous property in an idyllic location."

Chris and Julie could not have been more welcoming, with lots of lovely little touches like the welcome pack plus other essentials like loo rolls and washing up liquid, which was great. The property was beautifully laid out and immaculate throughout. Many thanks again for such a relaxing break.

  • "Excellent property."

Really high spec and beautiful all around - the photo on the site doesn't do it justice. Lovely people. Gorgeous soaps and shampoo provided plus a yummy welcoming goody basket. Plan to return later in the year. Definitely recommend

  • "The owners Chris and Julie were very friendly and the cottage itself was of the highest standard."

Having access to their immaculate grounds was a big bonus, especially if you are tennis fans like us. The welcoming hamper was such a nice addition and quite a rarity these days! We did find that a dishwasher would probably be more useful washing machine but this is really nitpicking. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the city life.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We have noted your comment regarding the dishwasher and hope this can be accommodated in the future. C&J Property Owner

  • "Little Aluph was a delight to stay in and my wife and I found it's location to be perfect for our needs."

The hospitality and the courtesy shown to us by the owners, Julie and Chris, was faultless particularly in allowing access to their splendid grounds and tennis facilities. The 'welcome-basket', crunchy granola and other thoughtful touches were much appreciated. The 'useful information folder' was packed with detailed useful information which we found very useful (how else could I put it?). We did feel that it would be wise to have a longer anti-slip mat in the bathroom shower tray and we found it awkward to sit upright in the double bed due to the angle of the pitched roof. However, as we are only smallish folk, we did overcome this somewhat by padding ourselves out with the pillows and cushions. We would conclude that we would highly recommend Little Aluph and we wish to thank Julie and Chris for providing an adorable holiday cottage. We had a most enjoyable week in Little Aluph.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We glad you had a lovely stay at Little Aluph. We have noted your comment regarding the shower anti slip mat and have provided a longer one. C&J Property Owner

  • "This was our first stay at this beautifully appointed holiday let."

The owners have given great attention to every detail of the stay. The cleanliness was of the highest standard, the welcome warm and friendly and the setting ideal for people who wish to escape the hurly, burly of modern life. The welcome pack was a wonderful basket of delights that gave a flavour of the local produce. The area offers fabulous opportunities for every type of explorer from museum lovers, walkers, coastal hikers and National Trust garden lovers. We would whole heartedly recommend it to all our friends and family and hopefully will be returning in the future.

Thank you so much for your review. We look forward hopefully to hosting you both again in the future Property Owner
