"We have stayed in a number of holiday homes, both in the UK and abroad, and this is the best of them all."
Our group consisted of four couples, each of whom were delighted with the quality of the accommodation. The kitchen/living area was an ideal social space. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen equipment was comprehensive and the welcome pack much appreciated.
The location of the property is ideal for taking advantage of the local amenities and as a base for exploring the area.
Would recommend without hesitation.

"Fantastic property, decorated and maintained to a high standard, everything works, which in my experience is unusual for holiday rentals."
The property is ideally located in the centre of town with walks on the doorstep with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby.
Parking for our two cars was not a problem in October, there’s parking for one car at the property and we had a permit for the roads near by for the other car and there was always parking available.
This might not be the the case at busier times.

"Lovely spacious property, the bathroom next to twin must have been missed during cleaning."
However, we didn't notice until the day before we left as we didn't use it during our stay.
Didn't like the wine glasses.
The best equipped property we have stayed in.
As guest comments show our Housekeeper/ cleaners take great pride in ‘their’ property being perfect. The bathroom involved was inspected before the guests arrived and after they left.On both inspections the only problem was that after they left the toilet seat was up……

"Absolutely gorgeous cottage right in the centre of town, with private parking, and a few footsteps to all the shops, restaurants, etc that Ambleside has to offer."
What a find! The house is finished to a very high standard... perhaps better than any I have been in. Everything is spotless, high quality, and everything you might need is there. My younger generation especially loved the second TV room/snug! Also big thanks to the owners and the housekeeper for a quick resolution to the only problem that arose during our stay.

It has everything you need for a great weeks holiday, if you want to cook the kitchen is kitted out with all you need, if not you are in the heart of Ambleside with pubs, cafes, restaurants at your door. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated, we will definitely be back.

"Wonderful place to stay."
As we were getting married it was a fantastic base for the family to prepare for our big day. Had problem with hot water the day before the wedding but was fixed within 2 hours. If being a bit petty you could complain about the delivery noises early morning but you are in the town centre. Plus side is you open the front door and are in the middle of Ambleside .As soon as I (sorry now we) can save the money we will rent it again.

"Rossett Holme is the best holiday property in the Lakes that we have stayed in (and we've stayed in several!"
). The location is slap bang in the heart of Ambleside and easy to find. Facilities are amazing with everything needed plus more for a family holiday. Beds are super comfy and having 2 comfortable sofa areas is also a plus when staying with a large family group. The kitchen is fully equipped with pretty much everything you can think of. The attention to detail in terms of decoration is clean, stylish and modern. The welcome pack was also an added luxurious extra to start the holiday and went down a treat. I would definitely recommend this property!

"Our 2nd visit."
This is a great property with an excellent position in Ambleside, close to park and a good starting point for walks. Some improvements made since last year which has benefited the main living area. Food parcel again outstanding. Everything you need is there.
We would highly recommend this property for a welcoming break.

"The apartment is lovely."
Very spacious over two floors, good sized rooms, with fab en-suites. Everything you could possibly need and a good quality 5 star hotel feel. The decking area was perfect for sitting out in the sun. The downside is the outside noise. The front overlooks the road and the back is noisy in the early morning with deliveries to the back of the shops. I would still go again however :)

"A superb holiday home which is perfectly located in the centre of Ambleside."
Extremely well stocked with quality kitchen equipment that made self catering easy. Very clean, much appreciated welcome pack and a good supply of basic cleaning products. Beautiful furnishings with comfortable beds, luxurious bathrooms, efficient heating with constant hot water. TV package and tv's in all rooms allowed our mixed party to be catered for on wet evenings. The living area is accessed by numerous steps externally at the back and internally at the front. The hallway downstairs at the front of the house provided ideal access for a pram.

"The apartment was so well appointed, clean and lots of homely touches."
Initial supplies were welcome. The location was excellent, though having a view would have been the cherry on the cake. The apartment was spacious and suitable for the number of people in our party. Great to have so many en suites and shower rooms etc.
The advertised access to the leisure club makes it sound as though it is close by in walking distance. Not a ten or more minute drive away. Consequently we did not use it.
Overall an excellent facility.

"We visited Ambleside for a 50th anniversary of our starting teacher training at Charlotte Mason College in 1971."
We had a wonderful time in beautiful Rossett Holme which was ideal for our visit.We enjoyed it so much we have booked a full week next year.The house is fabulous and far exceeded our expectations.We also met the lovely cleaning lady who obviously does an amazing job looking after the property for guests.Thank you also for the tasty welcome pack.

"We had the most amazing stay for my dads 60th birthday."
The house was absolutely beautiful and couldn’t have been in a better location. It was decorated to such a high standard and was absolutely immaculate! The kitchen cupboards had everything you could possibly need and it was such a lovely touch leaving bread, milk, butter, cake and prosecco for us on arrival. I have already recommended this house to all of my family and friends and we’re dying to book back up for our next stay already. Thank you so much!

"Rossett Holme was the perfect place to stay!"
The rooms were all excellent sizes, the property was very high quality and extremely clean. We had a lovely welcome basket when we arrived (including milk in the fridge!) which was a great touch. It's located right in the centre of Ambleside so shops, pubs and restaurants were all within easy walking distance. We had a faultless stay and we're looking forward to coming back again soon!

"Beautifully appointed house and it was spotlessly clean."
The central location meant that everything was on the doorstep. It made our holiday so much easier having items like the hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen items provided. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely recommend this property.
