  • "Accommodation was a ground floor apartment with two large bedrooms a kitchen-lounge and a bathroom and shower."

    Very spacious. On arrival the neighbours greeted us - really friendly bunch. The area was originally intended to be a retirement village but it has morphed into a housing development. Some works are taking place over the road and we were worried about parking, but it was okay in the end. At worst you park 100m away. The wifi was good enough for me to work whilst away. The apartment has all the equipment you need for a relaxing self-catered holiday/ work break (in my case) but beware that there are no places to eat near the apartment. Google says the local Middleton Pub does, but despite being worth a visit they do not currently (late Spring 26) do food. There is a Nisa local nearby and plenty shops in Morcambe and Heysham (pronounced 'ee-sham) and the apartment has all the cooking facilities you need along with tea coffee, etc. Walks on the nearby Heysham Sands thanks to a broken fence. RABBITS everywhere! Keeps the dogs occupied. Would absolutely recommend, especially as we hit a heat-wave.

  • "Our second visit and hoping to return again."

    The apartment is light and spacious and everything you could possibly hope for is provided. While we didn't have any problems the owner had provided contact details and responded promptly to any queries. This is a lovely location with open countryside to the rear and very close to the sea shore.

    One of the best breaks we've had. Home from home, with everything you need. Spacious and cosy. Owners very available and helpful. Beach on door step and loads around about. Having security gate to estate was great too. Will definitely be back.

  • "Apartment 1 is situated in a very peaceful and idyllic location."

  • "Loved this apartment very spacious clean and comfortable, well stocked even had food in the freezer."

    It's situated in a quite area and makes a great base for the lakes. One of the best places we have stayed, I would defiantly recommend it and look forward to booking it again.

    It was comfortable, clean and spacious, and very peaceful. It was ideally situated for visiting other areas nearby, including the Lakes. We enjoyed lovely sunsets from the lounge windows. We also enjoyed watching the filming of The Bay TV series in Morecambe.

Morecambe 2.8 miles; Lancaster 6.1 miles.

Heysham is a picturesque coastal village resting just a few miles from the town of Morecambe and the city of Lancaster. Woodland, open grassland and sandy beaches surround this village which houses a selection of shops, pubs, eateries and small businesses, offering something to suit all visitors. Brush up on the local history by spending time at the Heysham Heritage Centre, or if you are feeling adventurous, catch the ferry to the Isle of Man. Within striking distance is the larger town of Morecambe where you will find further amenities and attractions including the Eric Morecambe Statue and The Stone Jetty. Slightly further afield is the city of Lancaster, where you will find a medieval castle, four museums and Williamson Park which often hosts open-air concerts during the summer. Heysham is a peaceful base for exploring the area further.
