  • "The house could be fabulous however the condition of wear and tear on the downstairs toilet seat and dining plates are disgraceful, unhygienic and not fit for purpose."

There are various areas of the house thick with grime i.e.- base of bar stools, the base of patio doors. The high chair for guests with babies was thick with curdled food. I would suggest thorough checks and inspection of goods between let's. Due to the back gates being locked we were unable to place out the refuse bins for collection. This was also commented on in the guest book at the property, when previous guests arrived and refuse bins full, I am afraid this would be the case for the guests arriving after our stay.. This is a fantastic location, Cleveleys is pretty traditional seaside town with many facilities and investments to the prom and beach. We had a wonderful holiday and would consider booking this property again however with the current standard of facilities management and an expectation that guests are accepting the unhygienic equipment is an exploitation of holiday goodwill.

I’m am really sorry you didn’t get the cleanliness and facilities we hoped to provide .I will be in touch immediately with our maintenance manager for an explanation and will replace necessary equipment and toilet seat .Our neighbour is putting bins out weekly to solve issue but will discuss if this isn’t happening . Please accept our sincere apologies and I will be looking into this immediately . Best wishes Diane and Maurice Property Owner

  • "We had a lovely week in this beautiful house!"

Perfect for a family get together with plenty of space and excellent location. Lots of walking from the doorstep meant the car had a week off too! Owners had thought of everything to make this a real home from home and the sea front position was amazing! Add some great local shops and amenities and we can’t wait to return!

Thank you so much for your positive feedback and I am so happy you enjoyed you holiday Best wishes Diane and Maurice Property Owner

  • "This is a very nice property, highly recommended."

The refuse had not been collected for some time. The book stated that agent would put bins out..

Hello, Thankyou for your feedback . We are very disappointed re bins as we had discussed this issue with our cleaning company who reassured us it had been sorted.I have now discussed with the neighbour and arranged for them to put bins out each week with his own so hopefully this will no longer be an issue . I hope you however enjoyed your stay despite the wet weather . Kind regards Diane & Maurice Property Owner

It was perfect for a family get together. Even with six adults and two dogs we had loads of room. The location is amazing. Right opposite the sea which was so nice to watch. Lots of shops, pubs and cafes within walking distance (no distance really) We had a really lovely time.

The house was fantastic and the views were amazing, especially as we were lucky to get a week of sunshine in January! The house is well equipped and nice and warm even given the low temperatures outside. Would definitely recommend.

  • "The house was amazing, really comfortable beds and living arrangements."

The house is in a perfect spot for the beach and near by restaurants as well a quick trip on the tram into Blackpool. We loved the house there was a couple of niggles which didn’t effect our stay, but maybe something to think about for future guests, there were no baking trays to cook our Xmas dinner, nor a veg peeler. Also outside bins were very full when we arrived (understand that Xmas week may of effected this) We had an excellent week over Christmas and we’re very grateful for the goodies and that it had been decorated for Christmas. Thank you very much we will definitely be back,

Happy new year and thank you for your great feedback . I am sorry to hear about the niggles . We had replaced these in the past so I’m unsure what’s happened here .I have immediately informed our management services so thanks for letting us know and it will be addressed immediately. We look forward to welcoming you to our beach house in future . Best wishes Diane & Maurice Property Owner

  • "We are not newbies to this part of the coast, always looked at these houses and now stayed in one."

Warm on arrival, clean everywhere, great view from lounge window, our dog loves a view, and interest with all the big diggers going by doing sea defences.I am not a gadget person but the instant hot tap for brews, great.Due to my arthritis I found the lounge seating a bit low,so I occupied a full sofa by putting my feet up.

Thankyou for your feedback and we are very pleased you enjoyed you stay .I will consider getting some higher sitting options but hope recliner chairs were useful ? Kind regards Diane and Maurice Jones Property Owner

The house was very comfortable with everything you needed we will book again. One thing that wasn't right was the TV in the kitchen it wasn't set up it didn't bother us as TV upstairs was great but needs to be sorted we loved it here in this lovely house with great views with sea front

  • "House is lovely however there were a couple of cleanliness issues."

There was crumbs in nearly every kitchen cupboard, rubbish left in bottom of kitchen bin, the oven needs a good clean, shower glass was dirty. Also would have expected fresh milk or welcome pack on arrival. Kitchen needs more equipment tongs, baking trays etc House was freezing when we arrived. The bins were over flowing so we couldn’t dispose of our rubbish without the seagulls making a mess! The house is fabulous especially the view but just a few little improvements and it could be perfect.

Hello, I am truly sorry to hear of cleanliness issues and I have been in touch immediately with the agency we use who send their apologies and will be sorting the issues raised. So thank you for bringing them to my attention and I hope you enjoyed you stay and will return in future with these issues resolved ? Very well equipped, modern, clean and thoughtful property with everything you need for a comfortable stay and some lovely personal touches (kids loved the soft toys on the beds and said its the best place they have stayed!). Close to the shops and restaraunts of Clevelys and a great base for exploring nearby towns with good transport links. Lovely dog walks along the beach (no restrictions on October) and dogs welcome in lots of places. Would highly recommend this property for families (well equipped for babies and infants) and we appreciated it being dog friendly too.

Blackpool 4.7 miles; Preston 19.1 miles

Cleveleys is a bustling town on the Fylde Coast of Lancashire, about 4 miles north of Blackpool. There are a few interesting buildings and landmarks dotted about the town such as the Marsh Mill Windmill, an attractive part of Thornton Cleveleys heritage, and a Grade II* Listed building, which is opened as much as possible by The Friends of Marsh Mill. This is a local group foreseeing its upkeep and allowing visitors to see inside, and marvel at its fabulous and intricate workings. For car enthusiasts, the annual Cleveleys Car Show is on which hosts a wide range of vehicles including Classic Cars, Sports Cars, Modern Classics, American Cars, hot rod, kit cars and Specialist vehicles. Cleveleys seafront is just over a mile long, stretching from the boundary with Blackpool in the south at Kingsway, not far from Anchorsholme Park. Here you see the design of the sea defences, built carefully to keep the water out and prevent flooding. The promenade, cafe, water play area, artworks and easy access are very popular with visitors and local people. Jubilee Leisure Park adds fun-filled facilities with a children’s activity centre, cinema, pub and restaurant. The Affinity Shopping outlet is located next to the small and quaint, Wyre dock and marina for further opportunities to enjoy. Nearby at Blackpool, the seven-mile sandy beach and promenade offer donkey rides, fish-and-chip shops and theatres. Other landmarks include the Blackpool Tower, Blackpool illuminations, the Pleasure Beach, Sandcastle Water Park, the Winter Gardens, and Blackpool Zoo. The seaside towns of Lytham and St Annes-on-Sea nestle further along the spectacular stretch of coastline, a photographer's haven, lined with pretty parks, rolling sandy dunes and the Ribble Estuary Nature Reserve.
