  • "The apartment was excellent with everything you could need!"

All comments mentioned in previous feedback had been sorted! Very clean and comfy! Good location for visiting the Lake District but little, apart from harbour in Whitehaven! Prosecco and chocolates was a lovely touch! Thank you

Ah thanks for your wonderful feedback. Yes the property is in a great condition now. Whitehaven is continuously adding more tourist features as they aim to be a real hot spot on the west coast. There is a new £4m museum which is still under construction in the harbour. More things will be coming soon but Whitehaven is still a great place to visit for a few days and other popular tourist attractions are not too far away. Phil Property Owner

  • "There was only 1hand and bath towel."

Good job we had our own! Washing machine draw was sticky and dirty, so had to clean it before using. Old dishwasher was dumped in the garden area. It's advertised with dishwasher so I had tablets to use but obviously could not use. Garden area was not clean, window sill outside was dirty along with the floor. A sweep around would be good in the garden area. To help keep flat tidy a dustpan and brush would be good. Microwaveable containers needed in kitchen.

About the location

WHITEHAVEN

Saint Bees 4.6 miles; Seaton 9.5 miles; Bowness-on-Windermere 49.8 miles.

The West Cumbrian town of Whitehaven is situated on the coast between the sparkling sea and the Lakeland Fells. It was one of the first ‘planned’ towns in England and today can boast almost 250 Listed Georgian buildings and some beautiful parks and gardens. Today the town’s harbour is a designated conservation area and visitors can learn about the town’s history at the excellent Beacon Heritage Centre. The surrounding coastline has much to offer, not least its old smugglers villages, such as Ravenglass, and the red sandstone cliffs of pretty St Bees - now the start of Wainwright’s famous “Coast to Coast” Walk. Meanwhile inland you can enjoy the tranquillity of the Western lakes: Ennerdale, Loweswater, Crummock, Buttermere and Wastwater. Ennerdale is perhaps the most peaceful of all the lakes, with no public roads running along its National Trust owned shoreline.
