  • "This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and we had another lovely stay."

The house is clean and comfortable and very Conveniently located. Use of the swimming pool is a big plus for us. Penrith town centre is a quick bus ride away The property did smell slightly of smoke when we arrived, but this is not at all the owners fault. I do wish previous guest will be considerate and not smokers requested in these properties. The only suggestion I would make is that there is only four of each type of crockery – plates, bowls, glasses, et cetera. This means you have to wash up by hand all of the time and can’t really use the dishwasher. It will be great if additional crockery Cuttery and glasses could be provided. Milk and welcome biscuits/tea and coffee on arrival was very welcome. The 4G phone signal seems to be much better this year and we were able to connect the kids devices to the Internet via hotspot. However is there any chance Wi-Fi could be provided in these properties? Thank you for another lovely stay, we’ve booked again for next year :-)

  • "We had a fantastic stay in 12 Eamont Park."

We found the property to be very clean upon arrival and the complimentary gift basket and milk was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The beds were lovely and comfortable and there was plenty of storage throughout the property. However there are no cleaning supplies at all so guests will need to bring their own washing up liquid, tea towels, and cloths. Use of the pool was a great added bonus. Guests should be aware there are restricted times of use and lone swimming isnt permitted due to safety reasons, as there is no lifeguard. Reception staff were very pleasant, checking in and out was straightforward. We did have a few suggestions that could make an already lovely property even better. We had young children with us aged 7 and 8 and thought perhaps the addition of some plastic tumblers for drinks would be beneficial to reduce the chance of breakages, especially when there are only 4 of everything. Also perhaps providing a folder including information about the property with regards to checking out. For example what to do with bins, linens etc. In addition to this providing some information about the area, places of interest etc, or even a general guest book as they can be very useful when visiting a new area.

  • "Arrived to a beautifully clean and fresh property."

Few tea bags, coffee bags and a small milk left for us on arrival. What would of been really useful is if they was washing up liquid, handsoap and possibly a few bin bags left and maybe list of the nearest shops ect. Staff are super friendly and we had a great time would happily return in the future

  • "There is about a 1m length of stair case handrail that is unusable."

The landing structure comes too close to the rail making it impossible to maintain a grip on the rail over the 1m length. This made it difficult / dangerous for my 80 yr old wife when ascending / descending the stairs. If you provide me with an email address I will forward photos to illustrate the point I am making. The back garden needs maintenance it is a mess!
