  • "The property was stunning, the cottage was exceptionally clean and well presented, equipped with all of your essentials, including little things like umbrellas, a welly rack and boot jack, ready for your walk across the beautiful surrounding countryside."

    The bed, pillows and sofa were very comfortable, with stunning decor and finishing touches. Although there is building work still being carried out on the site, we were not disturbed by it at all. A very relaxing break, and our dog loved it too.

    Modern, top spec, immaculately clean. The most comfortable sofa and bed after a long day of walking. So much space and beautiful surroundings. Can’t recommend highly enough. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again. Our dog also loved it

The historic town of Appleby-in-Westmorland lies in a loop of the River Eden and is overlooked by the North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the Lake District Fells showing on the western horizon. Set at the heart of the lush Eden Valley and steeped in history, this is one of the loveliest towns in the north of England and was originally the county town of Westmorland.
