The small village of Lindale is situated in the southern Lake District just a few short miles from the coastal estuary and the seaside town of Grange-over-Sands. Sitting on the slopes of Hampsfield Fell it has a true 'Lakeland feel' with narrow streets, traditional dwellings and quaint old pubs. Cartmel, with its famous annual horse race meetings and the pretty coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange are all neighbours and worthy of a visit. Just a short drive away is Lake Windermere and the villages of Bowness-on-Windermere and Hawkshead - which still retain the charm and character that has endeared them to so many. There are many pleasant walks from the doorstep, whilst Lindale’s quaint, narrow streets are home to traditional dwellings, a shop and welcoming old pubs. Cartmel, the coastal resorts of Arnside and Grange over Sands and mystical Lake Windermere are all well worth a visit. An idyllic holiday retreat.

The location of Lindale made travel in and around the Lakes very easy and easy to find off the M6. The house was excellent with 3 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite and a large bathroom, particularly good if there are 2 couples or more staying.
