  • "One of the best holiday properties we have stayed at and we have stayed at many!"

The furnishings feel luxurious. The bed is very comfortable and the dressing room is a real bonus for storing luggage etc. The flat is very quiet, although the flat above us was unoccupied during our stay so we benefited from having no noise from above. We found parking was available on the street outside the property most days. We only had to park on the adjacent street on one occasion and it’s literally around the corner so don’t let the lack of dedicated parking put you off. There were one or two additional bits that would have been handy in the kitchen e.g. some extra plates and cups, but generally it was well equipped. There were no instructions on what do with the bin/recycling so we took our recycling home with us. A chap popped round to put the bin out on the Thursday afternoon which did give us a slight fright when he appeared in the garden, but it explains why there were no instructions for the bin! :) Overall, a really lovely property. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Thank you for the lovely feedback. We’ll add some information about the bins to the welcome back. Property Owner

  • "Everything about the accommodation was really good, no complaints at all and we really enjoyed the stay."

The cottage was in a great spot, nice and quiet off the main road but close to both Windermere and Bowness. Parking on the street was the only thing that I wasn’t too keen on but had no problem finding a space

Thank you for the lovely feedback. Glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "Property was very comfortable and well appointed."

The kitchen was well stocked with utensils of excellent quality. The lounge area comfortable and large enough for two people. Bed very comfortable and warm. We were able to adjust the central heating with very little effort. Only criticism was that smart TV's were difficult to operate as we were only able to get live television on BBC and ITV channels. (but that may be down to our lack of expertise).

Thank you for your kind feedback, glad you enjoyed your stay. We have now connected an aerial in the lounge so you can watch terrestrial television traditionally. The lounge, bedroom and dressing room area all have smart TV connection too for Netflix, Prime, iPlayer etc. We have added a brief guide to the smart TV in the welcome pack too. Hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "We had a great relaxing stay."

The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The place is a great location to Windermere and not to far from other locations. The only negative experience we had was there was a lot of noise from tenants above late a night for a few nights which caused disruption to sleep due to them walking in and out and walking around there place which can be heard through the floor boards. Other than that this was a great stay and would recommend

Place.was ideal for us and our dog and was well equipped, ideally located and tastefully decorated. Was easy to come back after a busy day and kick back and relax in. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in and around Windermere.

  • "Property was very well furnished and excellent for two people and a dog."

Loved the welcome pack which was a nice surprise. The bathroom could use a toilet brush and small bin to make it perfect. Could also use a cafetière in the kitchen as some like to use ground coffee. Had some issue with the Wi-Fi buffering but I think that’s a local service issue. Will look to stay again one day and will certainly recommend to others.

Thank you for you kind comments, it's our first season so it's gratefully received. Thanks also for the recommendations we will provide those suggested items straight away. I hope the fibre line being installed the week of your stay improves the wifi too. Glad you enjoyed your stay, hope to see you again soon. Property Owner
