Featuring their own private outdoor spaces, pet-friendly accommodation and off-road parking, in addition to stunning countryside views and an enviable location within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Kiesley Cottages welcome up to twelve guests and are perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a memorable getaway in Cumbria. Walkers can head straight out across the fields to the Pennine Way hiking trail and enjoy an energetic walk up to High Cup Nick, a glacial valley well-known to the hiking community. Return via Dufton, the closest village and home to the Stag Inn, a pub with its own amazing views of Dufton Pike. Head for Appleby, by car, bike or across the fields to explore the historic Appleby Castle, dating back to the 12th century, where you can take a guided tour to learn about its rich history and enjoy the stunning views from the castle grounds. Take a stroll along the River Eden, which runs through Appleby and soak up the peaceful atmosphere and natural beauty of the surrounding landscape, then pop into a coffee shop or pub for a welcome refreshment. Also within reach is the stunning Rutter Force, a picturesque waterfall located near Appleby.
