  • "Lovely weekend, the communal living and dining space was amazing and worked so well for our large extended family !"

The gardens and hot tub were so lovely to relax in. My only recommendation would be for anti-slip mats in the showers in the cottages, they were slippy.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review. It's really important as it means we can continue to improve our properties and make tour guests experience all the more enjoyable. I've asked the team to get anti-slip bath mats for the 2 cottages to eliminate the issue, but thanks for letting us know. It sounds like you had a great time at Clarence House and how lovely for you and all the family to be able to get together to enjoy it. The garden and hot tub are always popular and this time of year the garden is just starting to come into bloom. We'd love to see you back at Clarence House . Best Wishes Julie Property Owner

  • "Had a wonderful stay at Clarence House for a family get together to celebrate a very special birthday."

The accommodation was perfect for our party and we couldn’t have wished for better. Beds were clean and comfortable, plenty of room for a large party to sit together in the evening and eat together when needed. Bathrooms were clean and linen and towels spotless. Within walking distance to the beach/sea and an easy stroll to the local pub. Around 40minute drive to Windermere which is beautiful. We got a flat tyre whilst we were there and the caretakers Leanne and Phil couldn’t have been kinder letting us shelter from the rain while we waited for assistance. They made a very stressful day much easier and we can’t thank them enough. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Great property with ample space for 18 of us, plenty of parking and all rooms were very clean."

My great aunt locked herself out of her room as they are on Yale locks but the manager was round straight away to resolve and was always happy to help. The hot tub is a nice touch and you are totally separate from the property next door. Overall, really good stay and the manager was brilliant, would definitely recommend.

Thank for so much for taking the time to submit your review after your resent stay at Clarence House. It sounds like you all had a lovely time and the hot tub is always popular! We have an amazing management team who work passionately to make sure our guests have a wonderful stay and you can see from previous reviews that guest leave us happy! • "Very nice property in a small for large amount of guests, rooms are separated so everyone has a bit of privacy."

Kitchen is big and there is a lot of pots and pans, cups, glasses available Only minor thing was that tiles were very slippery going from hot tub to the main property. I would recommend to add that only 2 small dogs are allowed in the advert as this info was received after booking was made. Overall 5* property

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review...it's much appreciated. Clarence House is a great place for family and friends to get together and the open plan kitchen, diner and lounge are perfect for this. Thank you for pointing out that the walk from the hot hub into Clarence House can be slippery, I will make sure I add that into the guest manual. Kindest Regards Julie Property Owner
