  • "This is an amazing cottage in a lovely setting and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday."

There are lovely walks from the cottage, travel by car is interesting with steep hills and gates to open. We would love to come back. Malcolm and Eefje

  • "We stayed for a week at Ty'n-Y-Graig."

Such a lovely property with everything you could possibly need provided. Lots of thought and love has gone into this property, making it a perfect 'home from home'. Set in a beautiful location, with plenty of local walks. So many adventures were had and so many great memories were made. We love Ty'n-Y-Graig. Thank you.

  • "Lovely cottage in a stunning part of the world with nothing but the sounds of nature to relax in."

The location was perfect for our family holiday close enough to beaches and tourist attractions for day trips, while also feeling remote and providing the slow down time needed away from the normal life. Our son loved playing in the mountain river a 5 min walk from the cottage above the Arthog falls. With some of the lovely evening weather we had, it would be nice for some garden furniture to be able to dine outside withing the amazing surroundings. Our only negative is the lack of a washing machine, if you are an active family and the weather results in you needing to clean clothing while on the holiday having no facilities will be an issue for many.

  • "Although this cottage is very remote and difficult to get to, we really enjoyed our stay there."

We loved the remoteness of it and the fantastic scenery right outside the front door. We could also see the sea and the beach from the cottage. this is also good walking country. We hope to go back in the future

Thank you for your comments. It is a beautiful place and we feel worth the effort to get there. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

  • "A beautiful old cottage with stunning scenery all around."

The cottage was well maintained and very comfortable with modern amenities. It's worth every penny, staying there. I do feel that it should say in the description that access to the property is extremely tight and narrow though, through the cottage gate, and larger vehicles would really struggle to get to the cottage up the very steep hill without damaging their vehicle.

  • "An idyllic, cosy, tranquil cottage, stunning scenery and lovely views."

Beyond our expectations. The only drawback for us was the long journey to access the accommodation. We weren’t confident enough to tackle the short route due to the steep incline and single track, so it was a long way round. Having said that we had an amazing stay and the weather was with us.

  • "We recently stayed here on a last minute trip to North Wales , Ty’n - y - Graig was a beautiful place to stay , the cottage had everything we needed , clean , cosy and the location was stunning especially when you arrive from Dolgellau , we did arrive from Arthog via the challenging approach road which I found great fun but Melanie would not have wanted to come via that route if she was driving , the cottage is remote and if your looking to go to a nearby pub there isnt one , the 2."

8 miles on site is as the crow flies but we were happy to spend our days out and about and our nights in , we would 100% stay here again

Just what we wanted to escape city life for the weekend. Very remote, with wonderful views of the nearby mountains and the sea. Log fire kept the place cozy and warm. All the essentials provided in the kitchen, nice comfortable beds and good showers. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Thank you for your feedback. Glad you enjoyed it despite what must have been somewhat poor weather. Property Owner
