Binoculars are provided to further enhance sitting in the window enjoying the view. We felt able to relax and enjoy Barmouth.

  • "Beautiful apartment."

The fixtures and fittings are of such a high standard with beautiful paintings and pottery placed around the rooms. It’s hard to imagine a more perfect view and sitting in a warm and cozy room looking at that view is very special.

Thank you so much for the lovely review! I'm pleased you enjoyed your return visit, and very much hope to welcome you again. Best wishes, Jo Property Owner

  • "Just back from a week in harbour view."

What can I say? If you like a view look no further. It’s the best view we’ve ever had. Very nice apartment with everything you need. Very handy for a dog friendly beach, the town and some wonderful walks. We love this area but first time in Barmouth. As previously mentioned the entrance is round the back and up the fire escape which would be a challenge if you have mobility issues perhaps. Once you open the door and spy that view it’s like another world.

So pleased you enjoyed your stay. Thanks for taking the time to share your valued feedback. Very much look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Kind regards jo Property Owner

  • "Absolutely fantastic views!"

I sat on the window at every opportunity watching the changing tides and weather. We stayed for Christmas and the apartment was clean and lovely decorated. The living room is comfortable as are the beds. The communication was excellent from the owner. I would recommend if your taking a dog that you check they will walk up metal fire escape stairs, ours wouldnt so had to be carried up them all

So pleased you had a lovely stay, especially being away for Christmas. Thanks too for highlighting the fact that some dogs are nervous of walking up the fire escape. Kind regards Jo Property Owner

  • "So grateful to have stayed at this hidden harbour view gem."

You would never believe how perfect the accommodation is from the approach (which is via a narrow back alley, behind a row of shops and accessed by a metal fire escape) but please don’t let this put you off. As soon as you open the front door you can see how clean and tastefully decorated it is. The kitchen seems brand new and contains everything you might need. The main attraction is the view - such a cliche with this accommodation but you’ll spend most of your time sitting in the bay window looking at the water, the hills, wildlife, boats etc etc etc. The sun rises right in front of you, from behind the hills - such a privilege to see every clear morning. Must also mention the owner who is proactive, friendly and easy to contact. We had a wonderful time and would love to return one day.

  • "This must be the best location in Barmouth!"

! Despite the instructions we could not get the hob or cooker to operate. We didn't use the washer because there was no airer to dry the clothes. Apart from that the accommodation was fine.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me your feedback. I'm pleased you loved the view but disappointed that I couldn't help with getting the cooker and hob to work. I would have gladly arranged for our housekeeper to come round and assist, she's literally a stones throw away! Regarding the machine, it's a washer/dryer so clothes can be dried instantly or alternatively, the airer is housed to the side of the machine in the cupboard. Again, I am sorry that you didn't call me as I could have helped straight away. Kind regards, Jo Property Owner

  • "We had a fantastic stay in this lovely apartment."

It has been finished to a very high standard and had everything we needed. The finishing touches such as artwork and throws were exceptional. The view is really special and we spent many hours watching the boats coming and going. Excellent communication with owner just to confirm a couple of details. Thanks for a great holiday.

Thank you for the lovely feedback Lynn. So pleased you had an enjoyable stay and I very much hope we can look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Kind regards Jo Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at the flat."

It was a great location, the view was amazing and the flat was very well equipped. Only negatives were the entry which is down an alley which isn’t that nice and up some quite steep stairs. Also the main bedroom was a bit cramped, a bit too much furniture in there, so hard to move around. Only minor things though and wouldn’t put us off visiting again.

Thanks so much for taking the time to give us your feedback Tom. I fully appreciate what you say regarding the first impression via the steep fire escape. Though not the best start, it's wonderful to know it's worthwhile once you see that view! I agree too, the main bedroom is a little cramped and it's a real challenge to know how best to accommodate guests' needs for storage versus having too much in the small space. I might well decide to make it a one bedroomed apartment and turn the other room into a dressing room....food for thought. Thank you though, I completely agree. Best regards Jo Property Owner

  • "Fantastic holiday location , the view from the window of the harbour and Barmouth railway bridge is like you only find in films."

The flat is clean and well equipped, parking nearby with the beach just over the road for those early morning and evening walks with the stunning mountains for a back drop. Cafe's ,pubs and eateries all within a stone's throw. The only care point is the access to the flat is via stairs at the rear of the building.

Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback. I totally agree, it's a shame you have to access the flat via an alleyway and steep fire escape, albeit the view once in the flat makes it worthwhile. It's hard to find ways to enhance the entrance area so I try to focus on keeping it clean, sand free, (where possible), and as welcoming as I can. I very much hope we can look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Kind regards Jo Property Owner

It was lovely to sit in the window and people watch, watch people on boats and see the classes of paddle boarding. The flat is very well equipped and was spotlessly clean. We did have a problem with the tv and phoned the lady up within 20 mins someone was with us to sort it out can’t get better service than that. A great relaxing stay. Thank you

Dear Linda, Thank you so much for taking the time to send me your feedback, following your stay at Harbour view in June. I'm pleased we were able to sort out the issues with the tv etc. quite quickly and thank you too for your understanding and patience. I overmuch hope we can look forward to welcoming you back again in the future. Kind regards. Jo Property Owner

The view is amazing and it is ideally situated for quick access to the beach shops pubs and restaurants.

Dear Karen, Thank you so much for your lovely review. It was good to have you back after your visit last September. I'm so sorry though that there were a couple of housekeeping issues, (addressed immediately with the cleaners), albeit you said that most areas were spotless. Sorry too that the main kitchen light fitting wasn't working and again, I'm very grateful that you allowed the electrician access to replace it. I very much hope you'll return again in the future.
