  • "The lodge was beautifully presented and was lovely and clean on arrival, the area is beautiful with lovely views and close to the little town, on arrival we noticed the lights in the dining area did not work and we reported this immediately but unfortunately we didn't get anyone out to replace the bulbs throughout the week it's wasn't a massive problem but would of been nice to have more lighting when eating our meals and playing games at the table, the hot tub was nice but didn't appear to be very clean, it also lacked a fire which was listed in the description which would of been lovely in the mornings as it was very cold, the biggest thing was the bed this was unfortunately very hard in the master room and we ached after sleeping on it, my partner actually had to sleep on the sofa during our stay, with these problems rectified it would be an amazing little lodge."

  • "Was beautifully clean upon our arrival, very lovely lodge, great private layout to the park with stunning views, really enjoyed our stay."

Could have done with a doormat inside, not just outside, and lacked the flame effect fire in the property description, which would have added a warmer feel and focal point. That said, really very minor points, we will definitely be going back.

Thank you for taking your time and giving us feedback. We'll make sure to take this into consideration. Thanks Property Owner

  • "We booked a hot tub lodge."

Our whole search focussed on having somewhere to stay with a hot tub. The hot tub in our lodge was broken as we did not get to use it at all. We were offered the use of one in a lodge up the dark hill. Did they really want us to traipse up there in towels and swims and then walk back wet? We therefore did not get the break we booked. Disappointing.

The lodge was well equipped and clean. The hot tub was up and ready to use straight away and we enjoyed making the most of it during our stay. We had a lovely break and would definitely recommend the lodge and return ourselves.

  • "Lovely little lodge, clean and comfortable nice relaxing break, Until other holiday makers think it's acceptable to leave dogs off leads, and run over to my elderly labrador who doesn't need to be growled at or need to have to defend herself."

Twice this happened with 2 separate dogs. Not acceptable. Why do people assume they're dogs are great. Clearly not all dogs are friendly all of the time. Just think people need to be reminded dogs on leads at all times whilst out of lodges.

Thanks for this feedback. We tell all customers to keep their dogs on leads whilst around the park. We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. We do hope this didn't ruin your vacation. Property Owner

  • "This is the first time we have done this type of holiday but it will not be the last."

Really helpful staff, great lodge and location. If I had to pick a negative it would be the shower was just warm and not very powerful but it was liveable. I will be booking again. The toaster blew the fuse and the staff answered straight away and sorted the issue within 10 mins. Great holiday and we will see you again, thank you.
