• "The property was superb for a large group, very spacious bedrooms."

  Fully equipped we can't think of anything further we needed. The house was very clean & the welcome pack a lovely touch. The owner was very friendly & helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. There was so much outdoor space and a generous hot tub which was wonderful, immaculately clean and well maintained. Perfect spot for runners & walkers and a beautiful spot in Wales, peaceful & tranquil. Thank you.

• "The most wonderful cottage we’ve stayed in!"

  The place is stunning! We will sure be back again in the future couldn’t fault anything! Had an amazing stay! We stayed with 6 adults a child and 2 dogs and there was more than enough room for all of us to spend time together without feeling cramped! The house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly ask for and more! It’s close to lots of places for all the family and I would recommend the Gigrin farm kite feeding if you stay it’s wonderful! Thank you for a beautiful stay.

• "Fabulous house!"

  Great accommodation for our recent half term break with extended family. Everyone had a great time. The house was clean, warm and had some extra touches that didn’t disappoint. Hot tub was the icing on the cake especially in the wet Welsh weather!

• "What a fabulous property and a fabulous host, nothing was too much trouble, we were incredibly grateful for the owners generosity (wonderful welcome pack amongst other things)."

  The house is perfect for large family/friends gatherings and the hot tub was a real hit despite the constant rain we had. There was a real sense of peace at the property and we didn’t venture far due to the weather so this was crucial. Highly recommended. From the booking aspect, this was simple and easy with clear payment deadlines and sufficient information regarding directions and the access to the property.

• "Beautiful house, spotlessly presented."

  The family had a great 7 day stay over Christmas and the ten of us enjoyed all aspects of the house. The hot tub was used daily and was a highlight of the holiday. • "Beautiful house."

  We were a group of 10 and we had a fantastic time. We even made a Xmas dinner there. The house is gorgeous with everything you need, comfortable beds, plenty of space and lovely touches to make it like home. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. Thank you for all your help Steve.

• "Just got back after an amazing week in Talarddu 22 September 8 adults and 2 children and 2 dogs in the end, the cottage is a little awkward to find only if you ignore the directions that's on the key collection email, i would suggest you have a look on google street view so you know where to turn off the main road, the cottage is amazing it has plenty of parking and sits in a very large plot and the rear area where the covered hot tub is fenced off so you can let the dogs off, the hot tub sits under cover as well as the large seating area and table, hot tub is a big one with plenty of seats, fence is about 4 feet high so a determined dog will get out, if you go through the gate there is a small stream down the bank, dogs loved it, the area is very quiet."

  Once inside the property you soon become aware that its been well furnished with quality items, one large lounge with plenty of seating and a large screen tv, go through the double doors at the end of the lounge and there is a little snug with 2 sofas and a tv all tvs have Sky Q boxes and the internet speed was 40Meg, head out the door into the hall there is a cupboard under the stairs with ironing board hoover ect, also in the hall is access to the wet room and toilet which we used after being in the hot tub, next door is the very large kitchen, also with a tv kitchen has all you need, plenty of utensils, plates cups glasses, access to the rear area is via either the patio doors in the kitchen or through the utility room which has washing machine, tumble dryer, sink. on the first floor there are four double bedrooms one with ensuite and a main bathroom, beds were very comfy and the views from the windows were stunning, on the next floor there are a further two double rooms and another bathroom. wooden floors throughout with the exception of the stairs which were carpeted. The owner and his wife met us about an hour of arriving just to show us the hot tub and asked if we needed anything, Steve the owner then explained he would be coming every day at about 7am to do the hot tub but that he leaves his van down the lane and walks up so he doesn't disturb us, its touches like that, that show how much the owners want you to have an excellent break. We organised 2 Tesco deliveries one for the day we got there and one on the Tuesday, first one was a bit late but not a problem at all. Two places near by, Builth wells and Llandrindod wells both very nice with cafes and pubs also there is a swimming baths in builth wells which when the children are in school is pretty much empty. We had an amazing break and met some very nice people, the local farmer Craig gave my grandson a lift on his quad and even had the air ambulance land in the garden, birds of prey gliding over property, i normally don't go back to a property, but everyone in the group has said that they'd love to go back. • "We all loved our stay in this beautiful house."

  Would definitely come back again. The only one suggestion would be to have summer duvets during summer as it does get really warm in the night but other than that it was perfect for us all and the dogs.

  The property is simply stunning and finished to the highest order and needing nothing else, the grounds are stunning and the jacuzzi was a welcome relief at the end of the day. The location is peaceful and easy to find and at night you have an unspoilt view of the stars with no light pollution. We had a most enjoyable stay and will be returning

• "We had the most gorgeous stay in your cottage."

  Every aspect was so lovely. So much so that we booked to stay again! The cottage was just the right size and layout for a party of 11. We never felt cramped or crowded , and the kitchen area is a super space for all to be in. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus!!! Very well maintained whilst we were staying too! The cottage really is in such a relaxing place - sheep, birds and quiet! Fabulous! Maybe the option of a thinner duvets might be useful? Lovely and cosy for the winter but quite warm from spring onwards! Thank you so much for a truly lovely stay for our family. The dog absolutely loved it too! Such a good idea to have the gated area to the side of the cottage so the dog doesn’t run off!! Five star ⭐️

• "What a beautiful house."

  Every comfort thought of. We had a five day stay with all the family together- 11 of us. It was the perfect house for us all to be together with plenty of room for us to spread out if needed. The house was beautifully clean, all the furniture was comfortable and beds and bedding was of a superb quality. Part of the garden around the hot tub and patio was fenced in so perfectly secure for the dog (and small kids if they were with you) but so much more garden with a stream at the bottom made it a beautiful setting with sheep and lambs in the field behind. Each bedroom was tastefully decorated, the sitting room was so comfortable and spacious and the massive kitchen had everything we could have possibly needed with lots of extras certainly not expected. We would certainly return, the best property we have ever stayed in. Just wished we had been there longer to have done more exploring. The owner was there when we arrived, such a nice guy who was so helpful. He came every morning to check on the hot tub but we never heard him, very discreet. All in all a fantastic week had in a house I couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you

• "The house was perfect for our family get together."

  Beautifully furnished, it was clean, comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a days walking and exploring the area. Our dogs loved the large garden for ball chasing. We all had a great time and will definitely be back. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

  A weekend full of laughter and fun with friends. The location is fantastic with amazing views across the countryside. The outdoor space was amazing for the children to play freely and the dog to safely explore within the enclosed garden. The inside of the house is spotless and the decor is amazing.   The super friendly owners were very helpful and accommodating throughout. The cottage itself was incredible; spacious, well laid out and provisioned, amazing outside areas (with a great hot tub!) that were safe for the kids. All in all, couldn’t find any fault with it at all, highly recommended!

  This property is incredible, gorgeous inside and out and the owner is incredibly helpful throughout the duration of your stay! The location is serene and the outdoor hot tub / bbq area is a real “showstopper” element of the property! Inside everything has been thought of, the decor is gorgeous and I simply can’t stress how clean the cottage is too! You will not be disappointed with this house, it’s easily the best we have had ever stayed in! We loved it and can’t wait to book again, what a find!!! Make the booking, I can’t recommend it enough!

• "A fantastic location for a peaceful and relaxing holiday."

  The house was thoughtfully designed and with 6 double bedrooms made an ideal base for our family get-together. A well equipped kitchen made life easy especially with all the little extras that often get forgotten. The enclosed garden was wonderful for our greyhound and the field down to the stream great to take her for a quick walk. Relaxing in the hot-tub just completed the luxurious feeling and ambience of our holiday. Many thanks to Steve, the owner, for meeting us on our arrival. We may well be back.
