  • "What a beautiful shepherd's hut, with good quality furnishings and cooking facilities and utensils."

The bed was ultra comfy and warm. It was comfortably warm and cosy in the hut, despite the dreadful weather outside. The owners were kind ensuring we had enough food and wine as were unable to venture out one day due to the dreadful weather. Thank you Wendy and Richard. We look forward returning again in the summer..

Thank you for your kind review. If you do rebook, I just hope you get better weather, as to be honest it couldn't of been any worse. Property Owner

  • "Absolutely stunning little property."

So cosy and everything is brand new. The little wood burner was easy to operate, plenty of wood supplied and the warm feeling from it was so nice. I was impressed with fully equipped kitchen that has everything you can wish for. Little bathroom with big shower was a nice addition. Hut has plenty of windows so it’s bright and airy. Everything is well thought out and beautifully decorated. Located in the heart of Shropshire Hills, just by the stream, away from hustle and bustle - what more do you need. Property is dog friendly - same as all the pubs in the area. Owners are very friendly and helpful. I’m sure I’ll come back.

Thank you for your lovely review. You left the place so clean I hardly new you'd been there! Property Owner

Easy access to many locations in Shropshire and Wales. We both thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay. Thanks Wendy

  • "The Shepherds hut was wonderful."

Spotlessly clean. The location was exactly what we wanted. Quiet and lovely surroundings with plenty of space for our dog to roam around safely. Wendy was very welcoming when we arrived and helpful throughout with local information of places of interest, shops and pubs etc. We would certainly recommend visiting. Bob & Annette

  • "The shepherds hut was lovely; spotlessly clean with cute decorative touches."

The owners had left a welcome pack of milk, tea bags, bread and butter, which was much appreciated. The location was wonderfully peaceful and there was so much outside space that we could let our dog roam freely and safely, it just meant we could put our feet up and really relax. There is lots to see and do within a short drive. Could maybe benefit from provision of an operating manual for the hob, as we struggled; but the owners were nearby, and quickly advised me on how to use it - and to be honest we are technophobes so maybe it was just us!! Great short stay and I would recommend

  • "A little gem, cosy shepherds hut in a secluded location."

Had everything we needed for our stay, spotlessly clean and a thoughtful welcome pack included. Owner introduced herself on our arrival and was lovely, friendly and approachable so we knew if we encountered any problems she was on hand. Would recommend. The only thing that maybe could be improved is a more prominent sign on the main road as we sailed past it and had to stop and ask a neighbour where it was , which was not an issue but would probably be difficult to find if dark.

Thank you for your kind review. We have taken on board your comment of improving our signs and are having them updated. It was lovely to meet you both and your very happy dog. Property Owner
