  • "I've used many properties in Wales mainly for walking long weekends with friends."

This accommodation was up there with the best I've stayed in. There is loads of space, clean and tidy. The owner has good communication without being too invasive. Great location for Betws and exploring the surrounding areas and easy to venture direct from the property without getting into a car.

  • "The space is wonderful for a large gathering, with numerous spacious rooms and high ceilings, a superbly outfitted kitchen, and comfortable beds, and convenient laundry room."

However, we had several minor maintenance issues: the hot water cut out, requiring the services of an electrician, and door handles pulled free from several doors. Instructions for the kitchen appliances would have been greatly appreciated. Our host Arlen was immediately responsive and delightfully friendly and helpful. All in all, our stay was very pleasant.

I value your feedback, and thrilled to hear you enjoyed the house, especially as you say superbly outfitted kitchen. I am deeply sorry for the hot water cutting off, I had an electrician over to the house within half an hour to sort. I was not aware of any door handles coming off, and would have fixed them straight away if I knew. Very disappointing only to receive 1/4 for facilities and maintenance. As a host this is upsetting for me to think the facilities is not good enough. Property Owner

  • "Beautiful property in a fantastic setting, fully equipped to a high standard."

Will definitely return owners paid us a visit and nothing too much trouble

Thaks you so much for coming to stay. I’m sorry the cleanliness didn’t score 100%. I can assure you that the house is thoroughly cleaned, and wish I knew at the tine of your stay that something was not right as I would have sorted it. I am truly sad that this could have not been sorted on the time of your stay rather than thru negative feedback after. I really hope you can come again to rectify this and enjoy the house for what is has to offer. Property Owner

Perfect for exploring this beautiful part of Wales. The log burners were great to come home to after a day out walking. We would definitely book again.

  • "The property was prepared for Christmas with the decorations up and treats in the kitchen."

There are log burners in all the living spaces. But the heating is ticking over in the background so they are not needed unless the outside temperature drops below say 10 degrees. The accommodation was large enough to comfortably hold 3 small families and 2 guests. The place was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. The ceramic hob for us gas cooking types was a bit awkward but nothing that couldn't be overcome in order to cook Christmas dinner. All bedrooms had an end suite toilet and wash basin with 1 shower and 1 shower bathroom. Great location I only wish the weather was kinder to have allowed us to explore the area more than we did. The pizzeria BTW near the railway station is amongst the best I've tasted. We will be going back either as a group or as a couple.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay and the house was immaculately presented."

The position of the house is handy to access amenities and with the repairs on the bridge opposite this will be even more convenient. Having the garden at the back of the property to toilet the dogs for a limited time was really handy and easier as they remained contained. Thanks for the welcome pack and decorating the house in Autumnal themed decorations- kids appreciated this! Also, thank you for sending texts of possible local attractions. Hope to return in the future!

  • "Absolutely perfect place to stay, the house is well appointed, plenty of space with modern furnishings."

We loved the log burner's and the views out of the front window's. The owner was very helpful answering our questions and provided a lovely hamper to welcome us when we arrived. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

  • "Lovely, well designed, beautifully decorated and good quality furnished house about 20 minutes walk to Betws-y-coed."

All bedrooms have sink and toilet en-suite but only 1 shower/bathroom between everyone. Plenty big enough for us 6 adults and 1 dog. The kitchen is very well equipped with quality plates, dishes etc. Very clean throughout. I asked the owner if they had a stair gate (as we don’t always want the dog upstairs) and they quickly fitted one before we arrived. Very thoughtful welcome basket and flowers. Plenty of parking outside house and beautiful views. Front patio area isn’t enclosed so watch your dogs. Ideal location for us as a base to visit Llandudno, Barmouth, Snowden etc. Recommend white water rafting. Great house and would definitely recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  • "Great house for Large Families."

Nice and airy, good views and space. Great central location for local attractions. Easy walk into Betwys. Well stocked with plenty of equipment. Beds comfortable and clean. Good Tech set up with good wifi. TV's in all main rooms downstairs. Lovely main bathroom with drench shower. Nice practical ensuites to all bedrooms. Suggest additional shower room. Maybe in down stairs toilet? Certainly big enough caused a bit of a wait when all 9 of us wanted showers after beach. Hot water ran out. Could do with instructions to start water heater as I'm guessing on a timer? Did not spoil experience though. Can't wait to go back. Thanks.

Thanks so much for your valuable comments. Shower to downstairs toilet is on order, and hot water has been turned up. I really do value your comments and suggestions. Cant wait to welcome you back to Bron Celyn. Diolch Property Owner
