  • "We had a nice stay at Cobweb Cottage, after years of staying in lots of cottages we found this one to be quite basic in what it had to offer, the kitchen was a little limited with supplies in comparison to most other places we have stayed."

The cottage its self wasn’t very clean, it was very comfortable with sofa and bed. There was no welcome pack (which does say in welcome book there is one) every place I have stayed has something to welcome you with. The bins outside need to be set out so you can actually work out what goes in which bin. There is no cleaning products to spray surfaces down once you have cooked, you left a mop and bucket but no Hoover? It didn’t feel very geared up for guests. We had a nice stay but wouldn’t stay here again based on the lack of thought that gone into guests staying here. Was very handy to have a great outside space for dogs and off road parking. The village itself is nice and even though the house is on the main road through the village there wasn’t road noise etc.

  • "Positives: Nice location."

Quiet at night with virtually no traffic. Very well equipped with everything you need for your holiday. Great having the washing machine there, so no need to bring your dirty washing home! Nice big bedrooms. Not quite so positives: Even though bedrooms were big, not wide enough for a king size bed, so difficult manoeuvring around when trying to get in and out of bed. Even though it is pet friendly, there were lots and lots of pet hairs on sofa. Not as clean as perhaps it could have been in some areas. No welcome pack in fridge, as suggested in the house instruction book. Had to run down to shop for some milk. Half eaten food in one kitchen cupboard, which looked a bit suspect. Overall: A lovely cottage and a very nice stay, and I would return again.
