  • "Lovely sea view apartment."

    Very compact for 3 adults. Luckily, we had great weather so we're able to keep patio doors open and use the outside space.

  • "Our 6th visit to this little flat, it's tidy and clean but not the most well kept place - some of the furniture and fittings haven't changed in all the years we've been coming - but its saving grace is the amazing view which we love and that's what keeps bringing us back."

    However, this year we have noticed in the bathroom, living room and back bedroom, large amounts of black mould which is very worrying. Black mould can be very dangerous, especially to those with lung conditions, and I had to increase my asthma medication during the week. There is obviously a problem with damp which needs treating, hopefully before we book again or sadly this visit will be our last.

  • "Originally booked this for son and his family."

    However the two children wanted to be with their cousins staying at another local property so it was two grandparents who stayed here. Clean with a modern bathroom and super views of the estuary and the 'Cob' as promised. Quickly became a good base for us two but would have been rather small for four. However there was no bench on the patio which was a feature we missed - having been looking forward to sitting out in the evening with a drink! Also we had problems with a resident neighbour who took issue with our parking two cars, tail to nose, outside in the space designated.

  • "Apartment lovely and well equipped, the vauum cleaner was easy to use."

    Lots of leaflets and instruction books even though folder was damaged and heavy. Fan heater in lounge was too loud and took ages to warm up room. Needs more work surface in kitchen which can be done. No freezer compartment in fridge. Needs light outside door and either a step or grab rail. I fell up the step. Wasnt cleaned thoroughly. I had to clean shower and sweet wrapper underchair, didnt mind the dead spiders. Car parking weird but not owners fault. Felt a bit annoyed that i paid the same as friends did but theirs was bigger and cosier. If you want a basic place where you eat out then its ideal.

  • "18D's fantastic position over looking the estuary was amazing with wonderful views of the waders and tides."

    The position so near the centre of Porthmadog meant we didn't have far to walk into the town and it was level which was certainly a plus. The facilities were good in the flat and the owner was quick to rectify blunt sharp knives and lack of toilet rolls when informed. It's a flat well worth returning to.

  • "The position is great, and we would come back again, although a bit expensive."

    It's our second visit to this property. Things that could be improved a.The step from the patio windows needs attention.The paving slab is too small and unstable. b.the quilt cover on the double bed looked tired and bobbly. c.it wasn't clear whether you supposed to use the towel rail heater in bathroom, as there was sellotape on it. d. It was short on space for food storage and preparation. e. The flat was ok for 2 people, but would be cramped for more,

  • "The property was in good condition, the thing that I didn't like was the ..."

    The property was in good condition, the thing that I didn't like was the bedding it looked real shabby and worn out ,also the dish cloth that they left us along side teatowels had been washed but looked real grubby, I would have thought with the price regarding the holiday they would have at least put a new one for hygiene reasons, I don't think this has anything to do with the land lady but the maintenance team ,I think she needs to look into this as they seem to be cutting corners

  • "No chairs or bench to sit on outside No freezer and fridge had no freezing compartment."

    Toaster not fit for purpose. Dinning chairs most un comfortable. Very clean app. and beds good. The info pack was years old and falling to pieces. We would not recommend it for more than two people. Pete. A

  • "The property had a musty smell on entry, it is old fashioned the twin beds we ..."

    The property had a musty smell on entry, it is old fashioned the twin beds we slept in were uncomfortable one of which was a camp bed, the pillows were flat the bedding seemed washed out (need replacing) and don't mention the shower which was awful didn't work properly so we didn't have a shower for 3 of the days we were there, could have chosen a better place for the money
