  • "Perfect location if arriving by train, easy walk to shops, restaurant and sights."

Everything worked, house was very clean and especially liked the kitchen, well equipped and we cooked a number of meals. Excellent modern showers. Steve responded very quickly and helpfully to a couple of queries we had.

  • "We loved our stay at Jubilee Street!"

A fantastic location to explore both Llandudno and the wider North Wales area. 30 mins drive away from brilliant locations like Aber Falls and Cwm Idwal, and located right in the middle of Llandudno for all the food/arcade/coffee/shopping needs! The property was decorated and designed to a very high standard and the owners were super helpful and welcoming. Our one reservation would be the beds; they were super soft/foam which we didn't find as comfortable as we'd hoped, but everything else was fab.

Hey Tim. Thanks for the positive feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed and all went well. Thanks for checking out the ‘bike shed’ too! BTW - the beds aren’t super soft. They’ve got removable mattress toppers on them so you can remove for firmer sleep or leave on if you like it comfy. We’d have been to happy to remove when we did our mid week check with you but you didn’t mention it. Love to see you back one day and we’ll make sure we sort the beds in advance. Property Owner

  • "In my opinion the listing of this quiet property does not do it justice."

Recently refurbished & now very modern with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to all amenities. We are regular visitors to Sykes cottages & I rate this as one of the best we have stayed in. The interior was well thought out & all our needs were catered for. Would certainly book this again.

  • "A quiet location but only 5 minutes walk from the railway station."

In the property there is an exceptional degree of comfort with tasteful modern decor. A sunny back courtyard with two small olive trees and a good outdoor light gives a mediterranean feel and is ideal for outdoor dining.

  • "The cottage was absolutely beautiful, well presented and very clean."

Had everything you could possibly need. A wonderful welcone basket was just what we needed after the journey. The cottage is right in the centre of town, easy walk to all the Llandudno tourist attractions, the beach and the shops. A lovely place to relax and nice patio area to sit in the sun. Will definitely be re-visitng this property.

  • "37 Jubilee Street is exceptional in many ways."

The house is beautifully presented and fitted out. We particularly appreciated the two spacious ensuite double bedrooms and the small but attractive outside dining area. It is a short walk to the beach/promenade, parking ouside is easy (the train station is only a short walk too), yet it was surprisingly peaceful with very little traffic noise. The owners went 'above and beyond' to make us feel welcome, leaving a supply of essentials in the fridge for when we arrived and getting in touch to make sure we were OK and to offer advice if needed. I unreservedly recommend 37 Jubilee Street to anyone planning a visit to Llandudo and looking for self-catering accommodation, but with rooms with the standard of a good hotel.

About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
