  • "On arrival we all thought what a wonderful place which it was but then while looking around the Lodge maintenance really does need looking at , the first thing we had to do was clear the parking area of dog mess (roughly 12 lots of it ) so not to walk it into the lodge or my car ( I do believe were the owners own dog ) this was reported to the owner who claimed the cleaner missed it ."

Also light bulbs not working again reported but owner failed to respond, leaving the lodges you have to go up a steep incline onto a narrow lane if the very high weeds and hedge was chopped back a little this would of made it much safer because as it is you just have to hope if there's anything coming along the lane that they will stop and let you out , but the out look of the lodge is wonderful the decking needs attention, but on the whole we probably wouldn't return.

Having said that it was still good accommodation in a magnificent setting .

  • "Very comfortable, great location, would definitely stay again and recommend."

Would suggest the kitchen equipment be more extensive; more cutlery, tupperware, (for packed lunches/picnics etc), and to keep on top of chipped plates/bowls, cling film, silver foil, practical things like that, other than that no complaints. Would ask the owners to consider allowing dogs as the accommodation lends itself very well, (additional charges would apply I know), also, just as a personal suggestion a hot tub would be great in the garden next to the lodge, I understand this is costly, maybe an inflatable, and of course allow to charge more.

The lodge was out of the way in a quiet area and it was very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. Everything was provided, as described on the website. Also close to towns round and about so not that far to travel. Would definitely recommend.

James the owner was welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The location was outstanding and peaceful, with amazing views. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the veranda every evening. Perfect location to explore the North Wales coastline. Would certainly recommend and not hesitate to return.

  • "The holiday lodge was conveniently placed for the Expressway enabling quick and easy access to the North Wales tourist and beauty spots."

It had beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and mountains and, had the weather been warmer, we would have enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with our coffee. The lodge itself was well equipped, very clean, comfortable and cosy. We were made most welcome by Mrs.Gethin and her sister and we very much hope to return again.

Lodge is in the perfect place. But I think it needs to be re-furbished as a lot of the inside is looking a bit worn. But we still had a great time.
