  • "This place is absolutely beautiful."

The thought and attention to detail that has gone into it! I was worried that it might be cold and spooky but it absolutely isn’t. It’s warm and cosy with a touch of opulence. And what a lovely setting? We enjoyed sitting outside with a glass of wine watching the horses and the birds. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

  • "Absolutely stunning property and perfect for the three of us (two adults and a doggo)."

St Edmunds had everything we needed and the owner left us a small welcome pack which was very welcome indeed. The grounds were beautiful with the daffodils in full bloom, and the beach was around a mile walk down the lane. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and have already booked again for next year. Thanks so much!

The property has been renovated to a very high standard and has everything you need. I was worried staying during the storms in an old building it might be a bit cold, how wrong I was, it is so warm and cosy. Thank you for an amazing break.

  • "We had a gorgeous stay at St Edmunds."

The church is beautifully renovated and has a calming peaceful atmosphere, just what we needed for a quiet relaxing break from our hectic lives at home. We had a 4 night stay with our little dog and honestly didn't want to leave. We have very poorly parents and foster children at home so it was just so lovely to take some time out for us to reset and ground ourselves in the most beautiful surroundings.... PERFECT!

  • "We have just spent a long weekend at this stunning property."

The conversion has been done with such care and it was lovely to see so many of the original features. The whole place felt so cosy and it was hard to decide which bedroom to sleep in. There is a beautiful beach close by and we enjoyed lots of walks with our dog. On several occasions we had most of the beach to ourselves. We visited Flamborough Head, Bridlington and Filey and all are in easy distance. I would highly recommend this amazing church and our stay was so peaceful and just what we needed.

Scarborough, Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay are keen areas of interest to explore, brimming with history and attractions, including Scarborough Castle, Cleveland Way, the ideal hiking area, and the manicured grounds of Peasholm Park, before heading for Dalby Forest, a gateway into the North York Moors National Park, or head inland towards the historic town of Beverley and city of York.
