  • "A lovely very homely and cosy cottage, situated in a very convenient location for walking the Cleveland Way/England Coast Path and exploring the North Yorks/Cleveland area."

The owners have furnished the property with good quality furnishings. There is an excellent bus service from the bus stop just 2 mins walk from the property to Whitby, Middlesbrough and Guisborough. The local shops are excellent.

Thank you for your great feedback glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again once again thank you Property Owner

  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

It was a perfect base to visit the North York's Moors, the Cleveland Way and has fantastic walks within a short distance. The house was really nicely decorated and very comfortable. We would definitely book again. The only downside was the internet was intermittent. If they can sort this out, it would be a 10 out of 10 place.

Thanks for the great feedback we are in the process of trying to sort the Internet out Thanks for saying you would book again that's great we try and sort all issues straight when guests mention them once again thank you Property Owner

  • "In the property is nice inside, the garden was lovely, however the front of the property not desirable, also the neighbours argued and swearing dogs barking through out the night a few times in the week."

Not decidable for a rented property.

Glad you thought the property was nice on the inside as for the front of the property I cannot do much about the look we have had new window and door put in and all painted out side I thought the inside would of been of more interest and as of people arguing and so on that is out of my control and yes as of the dogs barking the owners should keep them under control I will try and have a word with them but I think to say not desirable for a rented property is a bit harsh but thank you you for your comments anyway Property Owner

  • "Lovely clean accommodation in a good location to explore area."

Very steep stairs and back outside steps get extremely slippery when wet. Tv also unpredictable as when streaming keeps losing signal so very frustrating when trying to watch something. Sofas and bed comfortable. Could do with a shower screen/curtain as when having shower water goes everywhere. Nice takeaways on doorstep along with shop. Would definitely stay again.

Thanks for your feedback we are in the process of trying to sort the TV Internet problem we are going to put anti slip on the outside steps to make them safer we don't really need a shower curtain as there is no shower just a hand held one in the bath but if other holiday makers say we need one we will sort it otherwise thank you for your positive feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner

  • "Cottage was lovely, really clean and well equipped."

Very comfy sofas and bed. Everything thing was new, think we may have been first visitors . Cottage could do with somewhere to hang coats and didn’t have a freezer. Plenty room in kitchen to add one . None of these spoiled the holiday but would add to the experience. Should say this property might not suit people with mobility problems, I have a knee problem and found the front door step hard to get in and out off as it’s a big step and on a slope, also stairs to bedroom are steep. I managed ok with care. Cottage is in a great spot to see the area round about, something to do every day so we we’re never bored. We traveled the coat from Redcar to Whitby, you could go futher if you wanted to. Plenty places to eat out on your travels. Would definitely use this cottage again, also had a dog safe garden with high fences, seats to sit out on in the good weather.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the positive feed back we have done the things you mentioned thank you once again Property Owner
