  • "Hi it’s the Coopers."

Sorry for the slow feedback. We staying in your lovely cosy cabin at the start of August with our two Sausage Dogs. We had an amazing 4 nights and we will hopefully be back in the future and will definitely recommend you to friends and family. We were concerned about the slight drop off the decking to the grass as one of our dogs had recently had a back op. Nina was very helpful and put some Sheep hurdles in for us which was great, very much appreciated. Cabin was very clean and tidy and we couldn’t think of anything that you guys hadn’t thought of. We had to leave on the Thursday but wished we could have stayed for the full week. Great location, really enjoyed staying on a working farm with all the animals. Lovely walk along the canal to the pub. Could go on and on, but thank you so much. Hopefully see you again soon. Love the Coopers.

I just loved meeting you guys! and the sausage dogs were just so lovely! Really hope to see you again soon, and hope little sausage is mending well. With love Nina xx Property Owner

  • "We booked a last minute trip to Crowkeld Rare Breeds Farm in a shepherds hut."

We took along our 2, mostly, well behaved dogs, to enjoy the wonderful walks along the canal that can we accessed directly from a footpath from the farm. The hut was very well equipped and felt very private, which gave us the perfect opportunity to relax. The owner, Nina, popped by the make sure everything was ok for our stay and she immediately made us feel welcome and relaxed in her property. She was absolutely lovely and even offered us to run our dogs in her private allotment should we need to. It’s lovely to still get a Personal touch in an ever increasing commercial world. Nina had also put out a welcome package of bread, milk, butter, wine and cookies for our 2 night stay. Tea, coffee etc was also provided at no extra charge. We cannot recommend these cabins highly enough. Fantastic value for money in a great location for walkers.

Jen it was so lovely to meet you and your dogs! Really glad you had such and lovely time and hope to see you again soon. Love Nina xx Property Owner

  • "My partner and I had a lovely weekend getaway with the dog - our host Nina was so friendly and welcoming."

The cabin was cute, compact and clean, and there were lovely touches on the side for us like bread, butter and a bottle of wine - all the essentials! The outdoor patio was a great spot to chill out with views of the farm fields and bunny spotting became our new favourite hobby for the weekend. The walk to the pub was lovely along the canal path and food there was great too. There are plenty of great walks in the area and Skipton is a very short drive away. The only things to be mindful of are - as you may expect with the cabin being quite narrow the bed is a very small double, so with two of us it was a very warm and snug night sleep. We used both the bed and the sofa bed in end! The sheets and bedding are great quality and very comfy though. The garden area next to the cabin is also not secured with many gaps by the fencing so if you have a dog with you you need to constantly be on watch making sure they don’t wander off, or keep them on a lead 24/7. We will definitely be back - it was just what we needed and in such a beautiful setting.

Thanks for your feedback Stephanie, it was lovely to meet you and your dogs and really useful feedback! We are really glad you had a lovely time. We are finding more and more places for dog holiday makers opening near us such as cafes and pubs so there will be some new things for you to try. We look forward to see you again. Take care Nina x Property Owner
