  • "Beautiful cottage in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales."

Excellent facilities - everything we needed (just missing a few coat hooks!). Perfect location in a beautiful village with 2 pubs. The train station gave us access to several other areas. Some fabulous walks, amazing countryside and breath taking views. Ample sized cottage for 4 adults (and a dog). Love the log burner and the welcome pack was a lovely touch - thank you!

Thank you for your lovely feedback on your recent stay at Cononley Cottage. Based on your recommendations, we will be adding coat hooks for the convenience of our future guests. We appreciate your input and hope to welcome you back soon! Best regards, Josh Property Owner

  • "Cononley cottage was perfect!"

Very cosy, fully equipped and a good location. The finishing touches and welcome package were a lovely bonus. Previous guests had made suggestions (like hooks on the front door) and these had all been actioned within days which shows the attentiveness of the host. The railway pub a few doors down was perfect to watch the rugby (small quiet pub though), for a quick snack and very dog friendly and for a really lovely meal out where dogs are welcome is the The Bull at Broughton. Apart from the weather we had a wonderful weekend away. I would highly recommend this little get away.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay at Cononley Cottage. We are thrilled to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and that our accommodation met your expectations. Your kind words are truly appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Warm regards, Josh Property Owner

CONONLEY

Skipton 4 miles; Keighley 6.6 miles; Burnley 16.1 miles; Harrogate 22 miles; Leeds 24.1 miles

The attractive village of Cononley lies in Airedale, four miles south of Skipton. The village's 17th Century heritage is still visible in some of the buildings, with an even greater number remaining from the villages heyday as a 19th Century centre for hand loom weaving and lead mining. There are two pubs and a mainline railway station with links to Leeds, Skipton and the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway line. Nearby Skipton, known as "The Gateway to the Dales", has an ancient castle, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street. Enjoy a canal trip on a traditional barge or visit Embsay Steam Railway or the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
