  • "Idyllic, but for the constant road noise and uncomfortable bed."

We thought we'd have a quiet stay at otter and but for the constant road noise we would've been very happy. Ideally located on the Leeds to Liverpool canal with exceptional scenery all around and a pub located within 30 min walk which is steep at times. My partner had sleep issues as she found the bed to be uncomfortable bed.

I'm so glad you loved our views as much as we do and I am sorry that you found the bed uncomfortable and the local road annoying - the hills are steep which is part of the beauty of the dales. N x Property Owner

  • "We had a great holiday."

the cabin was lovely and well kitted out including extra goodies to welcome us. Our hosts were extremely helpful and really care about what they are doing on the farm and for their guests. We enjoyed the opportunity to get involved with the sheep and to meet the pigs which for us was an extra plus but at the same time guests could simply enjoy the peace tranquility and wide range of wild birds. Lots of places to visit in a reasonable distance and the White Lion is a great pub to enjoy for just a short walk along the canal side. We would highly recommend for anyone who enjoys the countryside.

Dawn it so was lovely to meet you and so glad you managed to get to meet the animals ... As you now know, some of my flock LOVE meeting new people! Really glad you had such a relaxing time as well as exploring our wonderful area. Hope to see you again soon. XX Property Owner

The accommodation was 5* had lots of little touches that were great and a lovely little welcome pack , it had everything that you needed . Nina who owns it was lovely she came to see us just after we arrived and she was lovely. Would highly recommend the accommodation was spotless. Lovely walks around so our dog loved it and the fact that it was all fenced in around your pod was great so our dog could just wander when he liked and we didn't have to worry about him getting out.
