  • "A beautiful property, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean."

    Bed linen and bath towels were of excellent quality. Fabulous location and easy to explore on foot or via public transport. We didn't use the car the whole time we were there. Bus stop 1 minute walk away to take you to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay. The owner was excellent at responding to queries we had regarding parking and was able to answer any questions we had, super friendly and helpful. Very appreciative of the thoughtful welcome gifts of Prosecco and chocolates. A wonderful property and a lovely holiday.

  • "We booked this property the day before we were due to go, the property owner contacted us within the hour to arrange everything we needed to know."

    On arrival we weren't disappointed the property is spotless and very well maintained. The owners have given it plenty of thought to make sure their clients need for nothing. This property is 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes away from a very well kept park. This holiday home is up there with the best and I would fully recommend it to anyone thinking of booking it.

  • "We had a thoroughly enjoyable week at number 25 , with our 2 spaniels ."

    The gardens front and rear were totally enclosed which was brilliant. We have stayed in many places where they advertise the garden as being enclosed but in reality they are not which is a total disappointment. Because it was early March we couldn’t sit in the gardens, but the sunshine streamed into the kitchen and dining area and it was warm enough to have the patio doors open.The rear garden is secure , private and pristine. Also the front garden is raised and if it had been a little warmer we would have enjoyed a coffee with the view to Peasholm Park. On arrival there was a super welcome pack for us humans and treats for Zara and Bella our spaniels . Also 2 doggy fleeces, a towel and dog bowls to use during your stay. So many interesting walks from the doorstep….and the beach just a ten minute walk away. As you get to the beach there is Taylor’s bar and Kitchen. A super place, great staff, lovely food and dogs very welcome. Also a 2 minute walk from the house , an excellent fish & chip shop ,the tastiest ever . We can’t recommend number 25 highly enough and will definitely return. Many thanks for making our holiday perfect.

  • "This is an amazing holiday home."

    The standard throughout is excellent. The beds are all extremely comfortable, the welcome pack was brilliant, the location is ideal. Communication with the owners was effortless. They were readily available and genuinely dedicated to ensuring our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The standard of cleanliness was impeccable. We enjoyed the log fire and the comfortable lounge, including the lovely view over Peasholm Park. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining room was ideal for family meals. Although our stay encompassed January and February – the property was warm and cosy. There are lots of very thoughtful touches throughout the property – the owners have genuinely tried to think of everything. This holiday home stands out as one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. We would have no hesitation in returning.
