  • "The cottage is beautiful even better than the pictures and we were so comfortable, so many thoughtful details."

We loved the decor, the welcome pack was perfect tea proper milk and biscuits to revive us after the journey, wine and chocolates which we enjoyed sitting in the garden. Robin Hood's Bay is fairytale, the bars and cafes excellent, and we had a fantastic chilled time We all wished we had longer and hope to come again.

  • "We had a wonderful time at Pebble Cottage."

It’s perfectly situated, super clean and extremely well resourced with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. Milk, coffee, tea, even wine and chocs! The owner Glenis is lovely and communication with her was great. The Bay is a wonderful place to holiday, nice bars and pubs. We liked Brambles and the Laurel. Fish Box is good too. Right on the Cleveland Way for walks along the coast. Recommend Whitby, Saltburn and Staithes. We would book Pebble cottage again.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Pebble Cottage."

The cottage is sweet, and was well-equipped and comfortable for a short stay. It's beautifully positioned, and being halfway up makes the hill feel easy in either direction! A fantastic little haven in one of our favourite places.

  • "We had a lovely stay in Pebble Cottage - it is such a pleasure to be in the village of Robin Hood's Bay."

The cottage had everything you need and I realy mean everything! Even the items you usually buy and bring along were there such as dishwater tablets, kitchen towel, etc. The cottage is also kids freindly with lots of books and toys. The only thing that would make it brilliant would be a reclining chair for outside and more comfy mattresses.

The property

This mid-terraced, characterful cottage lies in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay, featuring a cosy, modernised interior.

Couples can visit Pebble Cottage to get away from it all, or bring along the children for a family holiday adventure.

Enter through the front door into a kitchen/diner with everything you need for a pleasant getaway.

Also on this floor is a welcoming double bedroom with the benefit of an en-suite shower room.

From here down a set of stairs is the sitting room with a door that leads to a small, fenced garden.

You have the best of both worlds here with a lovely sitting room to relax in on chilly evenings or a patio for those summer days.

The cottage also comes with patio area with picnic bench and parasol .

Back inside the cottage and on the first floor are two further bedrooms - a double and a single with a single pull-out bed, as well as a separate bathroom.

The beach and harbour are only a short journey and all holidaymakers will love its cliff-top walks, whilst there are more long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake walk and the coast to coast walks, which all take in the scenery of Robin Hood's Bay.

Stupendous views from the top of the village, atmospheric alleys down by the quayside, and a sweeping bay make this a one-of-a-kind destination.

About the location

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY

Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
