  • "We had a great stay at Ewe Crag Beck Lodge."

The lodge was lovely and comfortable and furnished to a high standard, with comfy beds, blankets and pillows. There were plenty of utensils, cooking items, and crockery and we cooked Christmas dinner. The lodge was clean but could have been cleaner in some areas, the en suite shower also seemed to lack pressure. Some additional dishwasher tablets would have been helpful as we were there for a 7-night stay but we had taken some with us just in case. The park was very peaceful, with the lodges set out with a nice distance between them. It was easy to get to Whitby and we would return, we didn't want to come home!

  • "We just loved our holiday in Ewe Crag Beck Lodge, the lodge was perfect and the surroundings wonderful."

It was all very relaxing just what we needed. There was a very good instruction folder on the appliances and a very informative folder about the site and area, loved it that there were copies of the Wild Life Trust magazine included. A walk through the woods down to the 'pond' revealed just how well maintained it all is and how wild life is being encouraged. We saw a wide variety of toadstools - so interesting.

  • "The lodge was beautiful."

We had an issue with the central heating as the auto button was turned off, but soon rectified by the site warden who was very helpful. We did strip the bed the morning we left but it didn’t say either way ,just to put the dirty towels in the bath and no mention of the bedding. Everything in the lodge is good quality and we enjoyed our stay

  • "Absolutely fabulous lodge."

Everything was clean and tidy and looked new and unused. Everything was quality, the outside furniture and egg chairs were fab. Settled in straight away and was very easy to live in. Very quiet and peaceful, wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Many thanks for a lovely relaxing week.

  • "The property was lovely - the write up does not do it justice as everything you need is there including wash tablets, washing up."

Liquid etc. The location is perfect for exploring North Yorkshire and is very peaceful even in the first week of the summer holidays. The only reservation for us would be when all the loges are occupied the outside seating area and living area would not be that private as there is another lodge directly opposite. We would definitely recommenda stay though and will look to stay again as it was perfect for us and exceeded expectations.

  • "We took our own box set of DVD's to watch on rainy days, but discovered there wasn't a DVD player, but was ample choice from streaming channels."

Not everyone has apps on their mobile or USB sticks. Also a set of table mats would have been useful to protect the lovely wooden dining table. Only niggles, other than these, the accommodation was first class, quiet location and handy for sight-seeing being well placed on the A171.
