  • "Very comfortable."

We have stayed in a few cottages in this row and this one is one of the best so far. We stayed in November and although it was cold outside the cottage was lovely and warm, The owner had left a cake, sweets and milk, plus there was coffee sachets and tea bags to welcome us. The furniture was comfortable and the cottage was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Off road parking right outside was a bonus. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this cottage and we will return.

Even some chocolates and a cake was there to welcome us too. Location is very close to the main bars, restaurants, cafes, train station and harbour areas. Private car park space outside the property is an added bonus in Whitby. One of the best accommodations we have stayed in over the last 3 years coming to Whitby. Can't wait to book again in 2024.

Everything was perfect as usual even the weather was kind to us and we enjoyed sitting in the garden watching the steam trains go by. Whitby is a beautiful place to visit and we never tire of it.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the cottage."

There was everything you could possibly need and the information folder was very helpful. The cottage was extremely clean the only problem there was that the single beds in the smaller room were not very comfortable. The location was perfect a short walk from the centre of town and I would definitely love to stay there again and would recommend the cottage to anyone

  • "Good position to the town ."

Well equipped kitchen. The vendor supplied milk and a cake on arrival which was a lovely touch , thank you Unfortunately the the bathroom was sub standard . Mould on the walls ,on the fixtures ,dirty and black mould to the sealant around the bath and on the floor and skirting board ,Extensive rust to the metal fixtures and black mould to the shower door ,shower hose and vent. The jacuzzi was broken ,there were hairs and stains on the floor ,it really was not a place you wanted to wash ,I have lots of photos but unable to load on this site .Lastly you are then asked to strip your beds and dispose of your rubbish ,something I’ve never been asked to do when paying premium prices to stay somewhere, this may be standard ,but I have not come across it before . Whitby is a lovely place to stay for a bank holiday weekend

  • "Great property and ideal location."

Could do with a handrail on the bath to help getting out. Beds a little on the soft side but that's just my personal preference. Overall had a fantastic week in whitby.

  • "Shower so stiff to turn off had to ask my husband to do it Asked to put sheets etc in bags on leaving but only 1 small bag left Equipment absolutely immaculate."

No jug for scrambled egg etc But! Lovely quiet clean property!

Thank you for your feedback. We take everything on board and use this to improve any future guest stays. Unfortunately on inspecting the property on your exit, it became apparent that you actually broke the shower and pulled it off the wall which made it quite difficult to use! We usually leave one bag for all bedding and it hasn't been brought up in the past but we will bare this in mind going forward. We thrive on receiving excellent feedback on the cleanliness of our property so we are pleased you found it immaculate. Thank you again for your comment. Property Owner
